How can i fix this?

Hi,

None of the page content will show on mobile if you activate the mobile theme
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you want to display the same content from desktop on mobile, deactivate the optional mobile theme plugin.

The mobile theme is intended to be used if you want to display a different version of the website on mobile, a simpler and lighter version with no blocks, grids etc.

You will have to create two versions of a page. One for desktop with the page builder or in any way possible. Also one for mobile, this is limited to the mobile editor and it’s simple capabilities

Hi,

Yes you can with some CSS. Like this for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/ndTv10XdFLX
Enter this code in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom CSS code

.td-footer-description {
display: none;
}

Hi,

The second screenshot you provided displays the Jetpack mobile theme, that would not work with our theme. Disable it and it will not display anymore
https://jetpack.com/support/mobile-theme/

If you want to use q mobile theme, try the one provided in the theme packahge
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The plugin is optional, not required.

Thanks

Hi,

We reply in all topics as soon as possible, no need to worry about that.

For AMP auto ads, see this topic. I believe this is what you are looking for
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/info-adv-amp/

For the mobile theme the header file is here

Hi,

I will try to help you.

1 .So you want to increase the size of the text in the post content I believe, when using the mobile theme plugin.
The default font-size is 15px with a line height of 26px
https://www.screencast.com/t/ylTxhhEnsA

Using the browser inspector this is not difficult to modify
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

So a code like this will affect all the paragraphs in the post content
https://www.screencast.com/t/tLRvOAl0

Code used in example, modify the values as you want, then enter it in the mobile theme CSS section of the theme panel.

.td-post-content p {
font-size: 18px;
line-height: 29px;
}

2. The mobile theme only has a single module that it uses for the latest articles. This plugin does not have many settings and is kept as light as possible for performance factors. Having many settings and loading heavy resources would only make it slower.

The plugin is optional and intended to be used if the website owner wants to display a simpler and faster variant of the website on mobile, with no dependency on page builder content.

Thanks

Hi,

1. I have inspected the website, for me the latest articles appear on desktop and mobile
https://www.screencast.com/t/jGtdQgaR

2. That will be the case, you are using the mobile theme plugin. You can read more about the plugin and how it works here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The plugin is optional, so if you want the same page content that appears on desktop, to appear on mobile, deactivate the plugin.

3. The About us is part of the predefined footer content, in the footer template you are using. It will display text entered here
https://www.screencast.com/t/bAW2bRkvXh
You can select other footer templates that do not display this section
https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
There are templates with predefined content, this cannot be removed, but there are also empty templates, there you can enter any widgets you want.

Thanks

Hello.

How do I put in Google automatic ads for each of my mobile themes and AMP pages?

Please reply.

Hi Simon –

Yes I’ll send along the link, and yes we’ve tested with plugins disabled.

https://gayety.co/

We did have success with the mobile theme – however client doesn’t like the look and feel of the mobile theme and would rather use the main theme responsively.

The issue only appears when the site is on mobile / testing mobile via chrome. We were able to disable the first issue by turning off Lazy Loading of images (though i think this is just because it removes JS from the images)

Currently on mobile, the hamburger menu doesn’t load.

Hi,

I made a quick test with that forum plugin, indeed there seem to be some br tags added randomly through the mobile forum page
https://www.screencast.com/t/Ft2Lq7H6JD
You could try a simple code like this however
https://www.screencast.com/t/kkVL5pqb

.wpforo br {
display: none;
}

CSS for mobile theme can be enetred here – https://www.screencast.com/t/71hxmWRO0Qp

Hello Riansyah,

Please notice that the default style of mobile menu icon looks like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/iJxkvT18 If you want to change this, you should edit the theme core file like this https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-change-icon-on-mobile-menu/
In general, if you want to display more levels in our theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

@WilRC
This would not be on our priority list unfortunately, sorry for the inconvenience. So such a preferential functionality may not be implemented in the mobile theme plugin. That is if it’s even possible in the first place.

Hello NBak18,

Unfortunately, please notice that everything you want to involve doing such additional customization and we cannot provide something like this at the moment, sorry! If you want to affect the style of the Mobile Theme, all the code should have to be added into the Custom CSS area from Mobile Theme settings in the panel. Also, if you want to change some functionality, you should edit the theme core files. If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you. Basically, we recommend the developers from studio.envato.com.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

Could you provide a link to the website so we can take a look?

Do you use the mobile theme plugin? Does the error display at all times if you check in the browser inspector console?

Seems like a conflict with a code entered somewhere in the theme files or theme panel, or loaded by a plugin.

Are you absolutely sure that you deactivated all plugins (except theme plugins), all code added in theme files and in theme panel, deactivated the child theme if used, cleared cache or CDN if used. Remove any theme modifications you might have made.

Simion C.

Hi,

The breadcrumbs will show one level of parent-child category, there is no setting to change that at the moment. The same would be for the cloud single templates.
I am now aware of any plans to make modifications to the breadcrumbs. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I mobile the last element of the breadcrumbs is not shown, I could give you a code to make it appear, enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS
https://www.screencast.com/t/sOFVXiLycS

@media (max-width: 767px) {
.single-post .td-bred-no-url-last{
display: inline;
}}

Regarding that hidden category, where exactly is it still showing? That option will remove it’s tag from the single post pages and category pages. I see you don’t show any category tags in post pages for example.

Thanks

Hello devmdn,

1)Use the code below ->
.td-mobile-content li a {
font-size: 20px;
}

2)There’s an option for it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ggOQ4aJu7TO
If you want to change the Search Icon color, use the code below ->

.header-search-wrap .td-icon-search{
color:green;
}

Thanks for your understanding!

I’m using the mobile theme plugin, it works great and it is very fast. On our staging we working on adding a forumplugin WPforo. When viewing the site whitout the mobile theme active the forumpages look fine, responsive design is okay for both. When the mobile theme is active the forumpage laytout doesn’t look nice. In some parts I see a breakrule <br> added! This is caused by the mobile theme plugin. I can’t find in the mobile theme files where behaviour comes from, do you have a clue? I really don’t want to move away from the great mobile theme plugin! Would it be possible to disable het mobile plugin for the forumpages?
div class="wpf-breadcrumb"><i class="fas fa-home"></i><p></p><p>News<br>*/where is this hardcoded?/*Matches</p>
<p>simpel de...</p><p> </p></div>

I would like to see this option added, I have a conflict with the WPforo plugin. I don’t want to disable the mobile theme plugin while it working great and fast. But on the forum pages I have some issues in styling some wired <br> are added on some places witch gives a strange look!

Kindly add below features in the newspaper theme:
1. Adsense Auto Ads code insert option in the theme panel (for desktop, mobile theme, amp)
2. Article Reading Time counter based on words in the article (including for specific post, page)
3. Table of content for articles
4. News Summary/Top News/Short News box for all/specific news article (in the top or top-left side of the article)

I also tried to increase font size from style.css file, restarted apache… but nothing changed.

I then tried
html {
font-size: 18px;
}
to mobile theme css. It worked for a while, only in tablet, -some articles; not all- … but then I got again the standard font size.

I read in an article that maybe that’s because I’m not using a google font.

Any thoughts?

We’ve been experiencing JS errors that makes the theme unusable on mobile devices – regardless of what plugins (outside of the core tagdiv plugins required) this issue keeps happening which causes images to fail to be displayed, and the hamburger menu to become unresponsive. We’ve tested for the last 24 hours with various fixes, reloading the theme, removing demo / themes, upgrading and patching. Nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

note: this issue and error only occurs on mobile devices / views.

Hello.

I would like to place a Google AdSense ad between the top grid section and the Latest Post section of the mobile theme. (Example. happist.com)

What should I do?

Catalin
tagDiv Staff

Hello,

Notice that your menu item does not link on mobile because there’s no any link set up to this item, because you are using the Mega Menu on the desktop version. I saw that you are using the Mobile Theme plugin. In that case, you should create another menu for mobile from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QS1RE1oQNHi or simply edit the Menu Items from Menu section and add your desired link -> https://www.screencast.com/t/DvTHbkjmk32y or simply add a Category Item to your main menu.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!
