Hello,

When I activated wp super cache and view my blog using desktop computer, it cached newspaper 7’s desktop version’s theme.
After that when I open my blog using my phone, it gives me the responsive desktop version even though the mobile theme plugin is active.

How do I solve this?

Thanks

Mobile theme: how to create an application from the website as in your video?

Hello BrokenAmerica,

I have inspected your website now, and it seems to work as expected on mobile devices. I guess that you have used the mobile theme and that’s why your Visual Composer shortcode have not been rendered. For more information about our mobile theme concept, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-not-showing-up-properly/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

The mobile theme does not have an option to hide categories. On the front page it will display a grid with posts picked from the featured category, and a section containing all your latest articles. If you want to display the same content from desktop on mobile, you could simply deactivate the mobile theme. The theme is fully responsive and will adapt to every screen size.

Thanks

Hello servedaily,

If you want to add some ads to your mobile devices and if you are using the Mobile Theme, notice that you can do this from Theme panel, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Me6hQY5q

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello joeydekoning,

Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to make and chose these ways for mobile, sorry! Notice that our theme does not use the bootstrap. The mobile has the own style and it cannot be changed but only from the code, if you want. If you want to display more levels in our theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello orlando,

Unfortunately, the mobile theme has not been tested to be used on Newsmag product, sorry! This plugin has been designed to be used only for Newspaper and ionMag which is our free product. If the future, it could be possible that our developers to work for implementation of this plugin with Newsmag but we cannot say for sure when exactly will be this period, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

The mobile theme does not recognize these shortcodes. The mobile theme was designed to be as light as possible to improve performance. It is also optional, so if you want to display the same content from desktop on mobile devices, you can simply deactivate it. The theme is fully responsive and will adapt to ensure the best result.
Responsive ads will adapt to each situation automatically. You just have to create the ad and place the code in the section you want

I’m using a 3-column layout but would like the middle column to appear first in mobile view. Is there a way to do this with css in the theme, similar to bootstrap example below?

Hi Simion,

Thanks for confirming my post. Yes, I tried it and it worked…only in posts though. How do I make it work for pages, if I’m using the Mobile Theme plugin. I tried adding the shortcode in the “Mobile Editor” for PAGES but it’s not showing.

Also, do you know how to resize responsive ads that are placed in the Mobile Theme? Like changing their container size?

Hello aryan1107,

I have inspected your website, About page on mobile and it seems o work as expected. If you are using the mobile theme and if you are using the Visual Composer, the page will not be loaded because the mobile theme does not recognize the Visual Composer.

Thanks for the message!

Hi,

I suggest you switch to the main theme as a test, then try to activate the mobile theme plugin again. If it is activated and working properly without the child theme active that means that something in your child theme is causing this. You can try to go over the code from the child theme and maybe see what could be the cause. A child theme sample is provided in theme package – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/

Thanks
