Hi henrib,
If you have mobile theme activated go in page and at the bottom of it you will find Mobile Editor you need to make simple page mobile ( https://www.screencast.com/t/0sf5AzXvTY )
If you wish the desktop content please deactivate mobile theme plugin.
Thank you for your understanding.
I have trouble with the mobile theme. When i create a menu for mobile devices the menu itself shows on my smartphone but when i click on an item it does not show posts. Only the menu-title (e.g. ‘sport’) does show. In the live-preview mode it looks fine. My site is http://www.lochemsnieuws.nl
I do not use the AMP-plugin.
Where do i go wrong.
Hello TheLuckyGuy,
Please notice that if you will use the Mobile Theme all of your code will be overwritten by this plugin, sorry! You should disable the mobile theme and use the General Responsive Mobile version of the theme if you want to customize this style.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello robertkettlewell,
For example, I have made some tests in your website and the font-weight seems to be the same for both cases (desktop and mobile devices – 900 px for h3) as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/gZQzCJsFm Where is the problem? Please provide some useful screenshots with the problem so I can be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for your understanding!
It does appear twice indeed, is the plugin compatible with AMP? Also from what I can see while testing with a mobile, the player it ads does not work in the AMP version.
News paper theme is not responsive on mobile devices. The display or posts or out of alignment, share icons not clickable, internal links not clickable. Sign up form not clickable. Most posts not clickable. Need help. The PC version is clickable through out. Need technical assistance with this theme.
Thanks,
kerone
Thank you. It was the background image on the mobile version.
I have the latest theme
on the mobile view clicking on the menu brings up the menu but above the menu on the centre is a “Sign in”
how can I disable this ?
(I tried installing the mobile plugin in but this is not work and is different from the documentation)
thanks
I changed the design of the Blockquote. But it won’t display on the mobile theme.
.td_block_related_posts .td-related-right {
display:none;
}
.td-main-menu-logo img {
margin-top: 5px;
}
.-hd-los-game-slider .-hd-los-game-slider-game.-hd-label-LIVE {
background-color: #2e7d32;
}
.text-bellow-footer{
width:100%;
height:90%;
background:#222222;
color:#666666;
font-size: 70%;
}
.td_block_related_posts .td-related-right {
display:none;
}
blockquote {
font-size: 20px;
line-height: 30px;
text-align: left;
margin: 0;
text-transform: inherit;
}
blockquote:before {
content: "\f205";
font-family: "dashicons";
font-style: normal;
position: absolute;
left: -1.25em;
font-size: 2em;
top: -0.5em;
color: #2e7d32;
display: block;
}
blockquote p {
font-size: 20px !important;
line-height: 30px !important;
color: #4d4d4d !important;
text-align: left !important;
text-transform: inherit !important;
}
@media all and (max-width: 992px) {
blockquote:before {
left: -1em;
}
}
@media all and (max-width: 640px) {
blockquote:before {
top: -30px;
left: -25px;
}
}
Hi. I have also made sure that the theme was installed correctly and deactivated all plugins and it still does not seem to appear correctly on mobile and tablet devices. Please let me know what else I can do to fix this issue I am having. Thank you.
How to remove space above logo in mobile while scrolling up? Click here to view image
Hi. My website URL is http://thirtyverse.com and I’ve noticed that with my previous font which was Roboto, the bolding works perfect across all platforms, but when using Titillium Web it does not look as it should on mobile devices and tablets. The weights of the fonts seem off. What can I do to fix this?
Hi,
In order to hide the search button on mobile please go in WP Dashboard Newspaper>Theme panel > Custom code> Custom css and paste this code there
#td-header-search-button-mob
{
display: none;
}
https://www.screencast.com/t/Am7S6pyXkFSy
See results: https://www.screencast.com/t/pgmUVx0VgDo4
Thank you.
Hello mcmusty,
If you want to have something like this, you should edit the theme core files and then, use such a custom CSS code to display those elements you want only for mobile devices. This task involves doing such custom work and we cannot provide something like this at the moment, sorry! If you are not aware to do this, you should consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work! Usually, we recommend the developers from studio.envato.com.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello TheLuckyGuy,
I do not exactly understand what you want to achieve? Notice that the blockquote is applied on mobile version as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5Abz4O21aovP
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
I want to hide search button on mobile.
How to?

help, please
Thanks
Hello Linda28,
Unfortunately, all of these plugins have not been tested with the theme and therefore, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected, with the theme, sorry! You should make it yourself some tests with the plugin and also, you will have to remove the default mobile menu which appears by default in theme, using the
display: none for that element. It’s just a suggestion but you have to make some tests because we cannot provide additional customizations.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello tanose,
Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized.
-> https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=ro&url=https%3A%2F%2Finsanertech.com%2F&tab=mobile
Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit our requirements.
Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. If you want to read other views from our users, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/
Also, check all of your Ad Spots and if you have entered any suspicious code through them, remove all of them and check the results without them.
One of our top members here on the forum wrote his own optimization tutorial here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/ and here -> https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
Basically, these are the theme requirements
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Another useful gui for increasing the page speed can be found here -> https://kinsta.com/blog/google-pagespeed-insights/
Thanks for your understanding!

But i change the size of the imagine to fit, and now is ok.
But on mobile is cut, if you can look on mobile device you will understand! (I’m talking about post on mobile)
Hi,
What exactly does not work regarding the socials you mention? if you mean the Facebook like button, seems to be disabled currently on your posts.
The Like button should function as it does in the theme demo, there is one at the bottom of this post for example
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/wordpress-news-magazine-charts-the-most-fashionable-new-york-couples-in-2016/
Facebook share works from what I can see, I checked one of your posts.
The WhatsApp share option will be visible only on mobile and when used it will open the mobile WhatsApp application and the post can be shared. This button will not be visible on desktop.
Thanks
I recently changed the font on my Newspaper theme to Titillium Web and while it looks as it should on desktop, on mobile and tablet devices the font doesn’t show the correct weights.
Is it possible to insert an element that will only appear on mobile, and not on desktop?
Above the fold content on desktop version gets pushed down substantially on mobile. I’d like to re-arrange some elements for mobile-only.
Hi guys, hope you’re all well.
Have finally finished our first site using tagDiv composer and absolutely loving it. My only major problem at the moment relates to image thumbnail sizes when using Flex Block 1 – which we are using heavily because it’s so flexible.
This is our site: https://www.thecarexpert.co.uk/
Problem appears to be that the page is pulling and cropping the full-size images (usually 1200x800px or 1400x700px) for the thumbnails, rather than using the versions selected (696x0px).
As a result, images are taking up far too much size and time in page loading, according to this test I’ve run several times.
https://pageweight.imgix.com/jobs/a48a70f0-ff69-4dc1-a9cc-f6253a6cb7b4/
Any ideas on how I can fix this?
And secondly, assuming I can get this working, can you consider smaller thumbnail sizes for these blocks for a future update? Some of our thumbnails are very small, especially on mobiles, so we’d like to serve the smallest images possible (<200px wide).
I forget to say that, i just want to display FAQ, Rules, Feedback and About only in top menu for mobile.
Thank you.
Hello,
thank you very much. It works like a charm.
But I do have a question how may I integrate this with mobile version aswell?
