If you activate the mobile theme plugin, then the mobile homepage will not be the same as on desktop. The mobile homepage, category pages, post pages etc have a predefined template. So regardless of what you have on desktop,on mobile it will not be the same. You can find out more about how the mobile theme works here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Note that the mobile theme plugin is optional, so if you want the same content from desktop to appear on mobile, deactivate it. There will be no problem.

The mobile plugin is intended to be used if you want to display a different and simpler website on mobile.

There is currently an ad present in that location from what I can see
https://www.screencast.com/t/9h4XSxSjLhc9
On mobile that is where the header ad is displayed when using header style 1.

Has anyone had any luck getting the mobile theme to work with multisite? It fails to find the correct path every time it is activated and no other plugins are installed. Any help would be appreciated.

4: How can I force your AdBox for instance on the sidebar to show 300×600 Google ads? On mine another side with AdRotate plugin, I use AdRotate that I set to 300×600 space and exactly the same Google adverts code and it shows larger 300×600 adverts. When I use your AdBox it shows 300×250 every time

5: Since letterbox adverts are useless on mobile websites, why can’t I set Article Top Ad (mobile), for instance, to be 300×250 or 300×600 pixels on mobile instead of tiny hard to see letterbox? It’s possible with Google ads. That’s above the fold spot, I should be, for instance, able to place the same ad that is shown on top of the slider (desktop). And I’m not talking about Google adverts, but those non-responsive 300×250 adverts most of us sell to customers

Are there any plans to update the mobile theme so that it can be more customizable? I understand that the theme is already mobile responsive, but I’d like to create a mobile version of my site with same sized and evenly spaced blocks as you scroll down, similar to PopSugar’s mobile site. http://www.popsugar.com

Example: http://i64.tinypic.com/e13evb.png

Thanks

Hello,

I don’t like how my images look dark on the following grids:

Big Grid Full 1
Big Grid Full 2
Big Grid Full 3

How can I remove the overlay (?), or whatever it is that is making the pics appear darker than they really are.

Also, on mobile, when I click the menu, there is a semi-transparent black box that covers the screen and my text is also black. How can I change this? Would prefer the box be white with red text

Thanks

Is it possible to change the content of the background video if the user opens the website on mobile ?

For example, desktop user will see the video and on mobile a image or a slider ?

My website is almost done. I wanted to check the layout on mobile when I realised that the header text is standing in the main bar very chaotically : https://www.screencast.com/t/EeSIhxlHGJF

I want to make the text go away so you can see a clean main bar with only a logo.

Website : http://www.testpagina.brainer.nl

Thank you.

How do visitors to my site know how to place the bookmarklet on their mobile phones. Does the site have to point site visitors to this feature or is the process intuitive? This feature is very important to my site-traffic strategy.

Please, can you view this post: https://www.trailandkale.com/interviews/interview-hillary-allen/ on an iPhone for example and let me know what is causing the white space over to the right of the screen? I don’t want the user to be able to pan to the right where there is just blank white space. I noticed that all seems fine on your demo of the Newspaper theme.

Please, can you have a quick check on chrome dev tools to see what may be causing this issue for me, I couldn’t locate the problem myself. It only appears on posts/articles, the front page and other pages display ok.

Best wishes,

Alastair

Yeah, I did it! Now, the carousel has been displayed on my blog: http://prntscr.com/jdr0j3

But, the carousel its not displaying on mobile version. The mobile version is displaying the default wordpress homepage. What should I do to make the mobile version is displaying the same design with desktop version?

Hello mradamrothwell,

I have checked your website on mobile and it seems to work as expected but on Google Page Speed Insights I saw some warnings. Try to make a new install to another sub-domain for testing with a fresh install, use only the theme’s required plugins, clear all the caches and check the results.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!

can anyone help me with this page / website

justifyingfun.com/best-battle-ropes

The mobile speed in particular is very low on pagespeed insights. Any ideas how i can speed up this website? I’ve tried most of the optimisations, cloudfare, adding code to ht access etc. I’ve followed as much as i can from the speed guides here and posts on the form but i’m stuck

many thanks

Hi,

We officially recommend the WP Super Cache, that would be the only cache plugin we tested with the theme, which also works with the mobile theme plugin. Other cache plugins or implementations may work as well, but we simply did not make any tests.
The Total cache plugin caused similar issues like the ones you mention, with the mobile theme plugin. Some users reported these.
The mobile theme however is optional, you could not use it in case there are conflicts with the cache you are using.

Hi,

If that is a page and theme block, note that the font settings available in the tagDiv composer can be different by device. So you can set a font size for desktop
https://www.screencast.com/t/BNzGapj9
And one for mobilehttps://www.screencast.com/t/x1xjUvvAcxr
These settings are not available in WPBakery page builder.

If you use WPBakery you could use CSS to set differ font sizes by width, with media queries. An example topic
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-manage-the-fontsize-for-better-responsive-text/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

Hi,

So you would like to hide the featured image in the post page, when using the mobile theme plugin. That could be done by modifying the mobile post page template. Comment or remove this code from the mobile theme post template file
https://www.screencast.com/t/DckFD79Z

Or enter this code in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom CSS

.single .td-post-featured-image {
display: none;
}

Thanks

Hi,

1. That is the page padding, similar to desktop but smaller
https://www.screencast.com/t/rgkmUFKzzT
It could be removed by entering this code in the theme panel advanced CSS section, in the phones and tablet fields
https://www.screencast.com/t/cca9VqHp7pPZ

.home .td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0;
}

2. There is a setting for the mobile menu background color
https://www.screencast.com/t/mjju2gutkK

Thanks

This happened with latest version of WP Fastest Cache. I’m back to WP Super Cache and have a tons of problems with the site. Trying W3 Total Cache and Comet Cache, but the situation is the same, posts looks like mobile version.

For me WP Super Cache is a total garbage and I don’t understand why one of the most famous wordpress theme and best selling only support this plugin and there are no support for other cache plugins

P.S. Sorry for my bad english

For few day now, I face this strange issue. I create a post to my site and looks ok, then the same post after a few minutes shown as a mobile version despite the fact that I check it from my PC. I have test it with several PCs and the issue remains and the only way to “fix” this is to clear the cache (i use the WP Fastest Cache plugin).

Have you face any issue like this one ? Can you suggest me any permanent solution ?

Thanks in Advance,

George
