Thanks for the response Bogdan, Simon and fametaxi.
We were finally able to update the theme 8.7.1. We updated the theme and the plugins in the theme package, including Visual Composer.
We are still having trouble with the search and menu button on mobile, on our home page caymancompass.com. We did a test where we deactivated all plugins, then activated each plugin at a time, starting with Visual Composer.
Everything else works great. The only clues I have is that:
1. Images don’t show, (opacity 0) so the animation doesn’t fire. Currently, we have some CSS to override it until we find a fix.
and 2. when we tried to use Autoptimize to test if combining all javascript helped, the buttons worked again, but photo galleries did not. So, it’s something with js, but we’re stuck. I even added this line to css, as Mr. Google suggested, but still no luck:#td-top-mobile-toggle {
cursor: pointer !IMPORTANT;
}
The above solution did not work either.
Any advice would be appreciated. We will continue to troubleshoot.

I’m just trying to change the font family displayed by default on the mobile theme… I’ve already read the link you gave me. But the thing is changing the font-family in the css did not work..

Last question, what resolution in pixels does the mobile theme take over from the desktop theme?
Good to know. If it is complex, then it is not worth it. Still, I hope you will be able to enable editing the mobile theme via child theme soon.

Sorry but for the mobile theme we have not tested any other smart list of an ajax live search. They were implemented exclusively on the desktop theme. The mobile theme was built specifically to remove all complex elements such as ajax calls, page builders,etc. in order to provide maximum page loading speeds. Sorry but we will not be able to help in this regard as the mobile theme was built specifically to ignore such elements. It will not be simple to modify it into using them.

Hi, I built out a static home page using the div composer and it was looking pretty good (I just wanted a nice clean look and this theme gave it to me!) I thought everything was fine but when I took a look at it from a mobile, it basically stripped out all the articles and left me with the “author” bio. My question is do I need to add a short code to the actual page to make this work? https://ftgcommunity.com Also, is there a way to pull the author bio out of certain pages (like the home page) when I want to keep the page generic? Thanks!

Sorry but please notice that our theme has been designed to have a special menu for mobile devices. The theme does not have an option that allows you to display the desktop main menu for mobile devices, sorry! The width is too small and that’s why this design decision was taken.

Hi everybody, i’m trying to change the typography of the menu, without success.
What i’ve tried (in the mobile folder) :

If you want to customize your mobile mode you should do it yourself or you can try the mobile theme.
If you want to display the top bar menu on the mobile devices, you should use a bit of CSS code for it. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

This is the style for our Mobile Theme concept. Notice that plugin does not allow you more options to customize mobile version, sorry! So, if you do not like this layout, you should simply disable the mobile theme plugin and the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mode.

Hi. I have been making some custom modifications to the mobile theme and I would like to ask some questions:
1. How to enable ajax live search?
2. How to switch the smart list style from style one to style 2 and retain the css look of style 2? I tried to change the code in td_smart_list_mob_2,php by replacing it with td smart style 2 but it is bot showing up as it should (not sure if it is the css for the former).

newspaper menu open very slow in mobile
When we display our site on mobile and click on the hamburger menu, the screen shrinks and a shadow goes around the image but the menu does not appear.
