The theme it’s tested and mobile menu works fine. It can be seen on our demo and on any other site which uses our theme. Also I’ve noticed that you made some changes in theme’s css file: http://screencast.com/t/pPJoGvLQA By default mobile menu have a css property which set a position -80% left for it when it’s hidden. You can see on the screen that on your site it’s -80% right. These changes influence the mobile menu from your site. I already mentioned in my previous replies that if you make any custom modifications you always have to check how they affect theme’s functionality.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option that give you a way to change the functionality for Big Grid in mobile theme, sorry! Please notice that the default sorting for Big Grid feature for Mobile Theme is Featured (the Big Grid will display you only the posts which are set in the Featured category). Also, please notice that if you want to change the sorting for this, to be by latest, you will have to alter the code from the core file where is created this type of feature, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/gTg5xwiqbnNC Please notice that this is not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for your suggestion but please notice that the mobile theme was made to be very basic, clear, just to be so fast. Also, we will not bring a lot of features in this new concept of mobile theme because how much will be developed, the mobile theme will become so lazy and this is not our goal in this regard.

Unfortunately you cannot edit any settings for the mobile theme until it’s activated as the settings for it are not available if the plugin is not active.

Please notice that any smart list you have on your side, the mobile theme will display you only the smart list 1 (the mobile theme transform your smart list to be smart list 1 -> this is the behaviour of this mobile theme). Also, if you want to display the ads for your smart list on mobile theme, you will have to add your ad in this field, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/T6uNhz88n Also, please notice that the ad position is a default one, below the image, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/daOG2C5o9 If you want to change the structure of this, you will have to alter the code from the core file in order to achieve your desired position for your ads in mobile theme. As a hint, you will have to alter the code from this file, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/fXNbduN0s Please notice that this is not a simple task and require to have solid knowledge in PHP/HTML/CSS in order to achieve best results. 1. The posts are displayed like her: http://www.screencast.com/t/00FGXlRy1LS because of rtl style. I’ve mentioned in my previous replies that the theme does not have support for rtl. You will have to adapt it’s style to rtl in order to have a good looking layout for the site.
2. A clean install means that you don’t touch theme’s code at all. It also means that you don’t use any custom css, js or any untested plugin. Make sure you do a clean install staring from latest wp version to latest theme’s version then test the mobile menu again. Try this on a new sub-domain or on your local computer without any custom code.

The theme does not have an option to deactivate the mobile design. To achieve that you have to edit the style.css file and remove all code which refers to mobile design.

I am using smart list 8 but in the mobile theme it shows as smart list 7 or something i am not so sure, and yes i am using the mobile theme plugin which came with newspaper 7.0

It seems pretty split on which browser platforms location works. For what I have installed, on desktop, it does work on Firefox and IE, but does not work on Chrome, Opera, or Vivaldi. On mobile, it doesn’t work with Chrome, but does work with Samsung’s internet browser (which is really odd, since that browser is just a skinned version of Chrome).
Is there any way to alter the code of the plug-in (or enter a special location code) that would allow the app to auto-detect the location when the website is opened?

If you want us to help, please provide more details to what smartlist you use as the image you provided is from a mobile version of your site. Also specify if you use the mobile theme plugin or not, as the code is different.

I have asked this question earlier too but the issue is i am unable to place the ads at good place due to that the ctr and rpm of ads are too low. i want to place ads inside the list.

Hi,
1) The grid shows posts from the featured category. If you did not set any posts in that category, then it has nothing to show.
2) Unfortunately there is no setting to remove the sibling category tags on the category pages for the mobile theme. this can be done however by editing the theme files like so: http://screencast.com/t/zxxpwsDxTQL
3) The gradient can have a transparency to it. When you set the colors for it, you can alter the level of transparency for the color: http://screencast.com/t/2QCay9Bblnb

My problem is not on the registration of users does not work.
In google webmaster in scanning errors in the “smartphone” tab it is reported as “soft 401” error the follow url
wp-login.php? action = register
I have not plugin for registration and there are no pages for registration activated
I use the plugin for newspaper in mobile version

Hello, I’m absolutely loving the mobile theme but I would like to ask for help with a couple of things:
1. The grid is not showing up on my homepage – it is showing up and looking great on the category pages.
2. Is it possible to either remove the tags that appear on the category pages, or to pick different tags? Unfortunately I have a lot of tags (probably more than I should), and the ones that are appearing are mostly irrelevant.
3. Is it possible to not have the gradient on the mobile menu? The gradient is making it impossible to see the background photo (tried switching to a lighter gradient but it didn’t help).

Please notice that the theme still uses the Visual Composer-style for the mobile theme because this is required. Even though the mobile theme cannot be customized using the Visual Composer, it uses the elements from this when displaying the Big Grid from the top of the page and the Latest Articles module from the bottom of the page and these cannot be got rid.

My site works fine on desktop and from what I can see, it works in responsive desktop, but things get strange on retina mobile and tablet.
The site is http://antojandoando.com/ which looks normal on desktop, but the pictures on home page do not display on mobile or desktop.
This carries into the posts where the top image does not display:

Oddly, this is not a problem on recipe posts (a custom post type) which have no problem displaying a lot of images on retina mobile:

I am running out of ideas on what might be happening. The tech support at wpengine said that: “it looks like whatever is serving the images is having issues replacing .png with @2x.png for retina screens, for the higher resolution”
