What is this weird bug that when visiting my site using a smartphone via Chrome, the site links are unresponsive. Pressing them only underlines and highlights the links, but not redirects them to it. You have to refresh the page until it works.
Please helpme. I am going crazy soon. I make about 3-4 posts every day but it seems that the dont reach the web instantly – both mobiles, tablets and desktos. It can take hours…
I have tried disabling plugins, empty cache, inactivate slider and more and so on… and I still have problems. I have other sites with other themes that works perfect.

The issue:
The sprite files aren’t in the patch you need to manually upload them
Solution:
1. download the entire theme again
2. copy the sprites folder from the theme under images
3. Upload them over the sprites folder under images within the Newspaper theme.

I thought I’d let you know that the Pagespeed score went way down in version 3.1. This seems to affect mobile only. I believe it’s due to the speed booster plugin not taking effect on the mobile site for some reason.
Here’s the demo page, which got a score of 66 for me.

Problem solved. Thank you Stefan. It took a while to get rid of the cache!
They are in the 3.1 folder. Just download the whole update folder. Not just the patch

I explained it in my last post. Its two files in the last update in a folder with the name SPRITES. Just transfer them to the SPRITES folder in Newspaper theme via FTP
I have replace every single SPRITE file I could find, Could you be specific about exactly what should we replace (destination files) and with what? There seems to be plenty of us with the same problem and we couldn’t figure it out ourselves. Thank you for your input! I look forward to implementing a solution for this!

We have a problem with tagDiv speed booster plugin. When we activeted this plugin fonts and colors appear original type in the some computers and after seconds we have see our custom settings. When we tried to deactivete tagDiv plugin, Carousel gallery not working.
Finally we got this proglems after update. Can you check and fix our problems please.?Best Regards.
Update the Sprite files i Newspaper Theme folder via FTP. That worked for me… I had to take them over separately since they dont had been transferred when I did the whole update
I am facing the same problem after the update.
Still not working in incognito or with a cleared cache. Basically its showing half of a home looking icon and something else but both hard to make out. Please take a look at (android-advice(dot)com) to see what I mean.

Hello Stefan, I want to show certain ads to specific devices.
On desktop I want the square 336×280 wrapped in text after the 1st paragraf. But if I add the code for it in the inline field I still end up with a banner ad.
Also, on mobile, the top banner ad is converted to a square ad. I just want to know where I can edit which ads are shown on which devices and in the sizes I want.

I just choose Responsive ads when in Google Adsense. One code for all spots. Works perfect for me. Just remember to disable top ads on mobile 🙂

I have set an Inline ad square (336×280) and on laptop/desktop it is showing a banner ad.
Also the ad had certain styles added from adsense, on mobile it’s showing google’s default one.
In the main panel I can not customize which AD Units are shown on which devices. How to I fix this? Thanks Marius!

Radu and Marius: The logo shows in the menu when scrolling on mobile if I choose “Header Style 1” (as in your demo).
It doesn’t work if I choose “Header style 3”, which is the one I’m using. This must be a bug?
