I’ve got a conflict with Jetpack running on Newspaper. When it’s activated, my product images don’t show on mobile. When I deactivate Jetpack, my images do show on mobile. I have none of the Jetpack performance options enabled (such as lazy loading), so it’s not that. Anyone else run into this issue? (BTW, I need to have Jetpack enabled to use Woocommerce sales tax plugin or I wouldn’t bother using it.) Thanks!

Hi Support,

I need to create and apply a custom header and footer on the mobile template ive created for my front page.

I would like to update the footer to display our details and not the default TagDiv footer.

I am currently seeing a message “this footer is not editable with tagDiv, Please use a cloud Template”

Hello everyone,
I would like to raise a concern regarding my website. When I go to my “About Us” page in the mobile version it shows nothing. But the desktop version works properly. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Additionally, the sub-menu pages under the “More” section are not visible on the mobile version. Can anyone tell me how to fix this issue?

Kind regards,
Khan Mohammad Imran

Hello,

I just have 3 settings left (redactor-ai.com) for wich I can’t find out “how” :

1- I have set the sticky menu on large screen https://www.screencast.com/t/E8z0xA2XZ9. However the sticky menu works only on mobile, not on large screen. What did I do wrong ?

2- I am trying to give more opacity to the mobile background menu, or to add color, but I can’t find out how : https://www.screencast.com/t/lO7iwOnGDTZ

3- There is a gap between the pricing table and the nearest component : https://www.screencast.com/t/5sb1Niigf. It looks like there is a gap in the row, and I can’t find out how to close this gap : https://www.screencast.com/t/qLEbYgwwRfuc

After this I should be done :).

Hi Bettina,

Let me restate the problem. I want to make the Main menu visible on the mobile view tool. I am using TD live demo in this case for ease of understanding.

Main menu https://paste.pics/49ac80fe0ab5b705c0b1e92de49d9b7e

On mobile view, I want to keep 2ndry menu in its place as of now but want to make the main menu available somewhere in the header like here https://paste.pics/9ea293983bc30be6a81796857a06be29

The current menu in mobile view with 9 dots on the left side, we like it and don’t want to touch it.

Pls advice.

Hi,
I understand, and yet I think something is different if the behavior is also different.
What can I advise you is to check to make sure that the option for the mobile cache is active in the cache plugin, and possibly set the clear cache option of the cache to a smaller interval.
If the problem persists, you can contact us by email at contact@tagdiv.com where you can provide access to the sites and we can do more investigations.
Thank you!

Hi,

If you disable the mobile theme plugin, then disable also, the amp, because the amp works with the mobile theme.

Thank you!

Hi,

beta.gulfleaderscircle.com

Query 1: On my website, when I try to share an article on socials (Facebook / LinkedIn) the image, caption and URL have nothing to do with the post. A random ad post appears.

Query 2: I have my social media pages on my header. The links to the socials open from the mobile version, but not on the desktop.

Hello, my featured image doesn’t appear in full on single post mobile even after tweaking different settings like setting ‘Full Size’ on the Classic Pro demo. Maybe you can recommend the right settings or dimensions. You can check this page (https://canineaccess.com/how-big-is-a-chihuahua-brain/) on mobile and advice. Thank You

Hi,
Yes I have made a mobile page/template. My cache plugin is WP Fastest Cache. I have it many years and all works fine. I have the same configuration and plugins on my other site mobilepress.cz (here works the mobile teplate fine)
You can compare how the mobile site should look and how it looks. If you need access to the website, it is not problem to create it.
Thank you

Looking good, but the old header is still on the Resources pages on the mobile view. You see the correct header initially but, once you begin scrolling, the old header appears again.

Hi,
I have a new problem on my site gamepress.cz
I’ve been using two different skins for desktop and mobile for years. Now I have a problem that the mobile version shows the same as the desktop. After saving, the mobile version will display correctly for a moment, but after a while it will revert to the desktop version.
I’ve tried just about everything, but to no avail.
Any advice on how to fix this?

Thank You

Hello!

If you click here: https://prnt.sc/NaESqv_NoQz2, then you’ll see the mobile menu if you set it up.
Click on the mobile viewport while you edit the homepage with tagdiv composer and set your mobile menu already built in Appearance -> Menus.

Thank you!

Hi Bettina,

Before writing to support, I made several experiments to make the global menu visible on mobile view too but nothing worked. Later I came in here to get a solution. I hope you know how to overcome this issue.

The live theme demo for Lifestyle Pro by tagDiv also doesn’t show the menu on mobile view. I just want to make that visible somehow. The one left to the logo is fine, I am happy with that.

TD live demo without mobile menu https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_lifestyle_pro/

pls guide.

Thanks Calin.

On the hamburger menu background: Is there a way that we can add a class to that DIV that holds the background image on the mobile hamburger menu/search menu? I don’t think we can set a defer value using CSS and having to write JS to find it will likely incur even bigger penalties in PSI.

On the images on viewports such as mobile, being too big:

Do you mean loading the original template as a mobile template and swapping out those values in Flex Blocks? I’m try to avoid separate mobile templates, as it easily doubles my work and it becomes ever harder to maintain two versions.

Hopefully in the future a dropdown per viewport inside the theme will allow us to choose which size to load. 😉

Kudos on the theme, btw. It’s stellar!

Hello @sohailahmed160 !

In order to disable this option “Exit mobile version”, you need to disable this setting: https://i.imgur.com/LxpDtB2.png

Hey @Anamaria,

This seems to have done it! BUT .. somehow the next-previous icon don’t appear together…the < icon is way above and hidden within the image. Also, I don’t see the other images in the same row (I only see one image per slide). What am I missing?
+ when the page loads, it takes a while to appear.
I cannot put it on a test page to show but you can see it on a mobile theme page that I am building here (you can see it on a desktop too).

Thank you for your help so far, and I hope to hear from you on this again!

Thank Calin.

Just an idea, but maybe good for later:

It would be good if when we write code in the current on-page CSS Editor we can add some kind of structured contents that would tell the system later to drop the respective CSS/JS code into into separate files.

/* ## CSS Viewport: Horizontal – Load: Sitewide ## */
css code

/* ## CSS Viewport: Desktop – Load: Homepage, Categories, Tags ## */
other css code

/* ## CSS Viewport: Desktop – Load: Single ## */
other css code

It would allow us to keep code in one place, and would be super versatile.
Devices only load specific code meant for their viewports, so it would cut down on half or more of the CSS code.

A similar structure could then be used for inline generated code.

A later step could be to have a function go through the code of the page/template and build separate css files for each device, and/or type of page.

It would cut down on code, reduce the cost of data transfer both for publishers and for the audience and thereby improve PageSpeed scores a lot. I’ve noticed that typically 60-80% of CSS and JS code that is loaded isn’t really used on the page or on the specific viewport.

This would fix all of that and we could get Newspaper achieve 100 PageSpeed score on Mobile with the responsive design, without having to complicate matters mobile/AMP templates that lack functionality or brand-specific styling.

Let me know how I can be of help on this or beta.

This option is set to “Mobile + AMP”

Anamaria

Hi,

No, because you can’t use mobile+ amp with a cloud template.

Thank you!
