Hello,
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
For AMP you can use mobile theme plugin and use this option => https://www.screencast.com/t/uOOZoezrSR then the mobile theme layout will apply only for AMP, and if you want to have AMP pages, not only AMP post then you need to set for pages a page content in the mobile editor (content made without builders). => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH
Thank you!
hi,
I have already tried that, of course. Then I have mobile no more distance >> https://nimb.ws/xo9GBQ
This is not what I have in mind with a margin of 25px.
Hi,
I’m using the Gossip template to create a sticky mobile header. Everything appears to work correctly, but when I switch my phone to landscape mode, I see the customizations I made, but also the remains of the Gossip template. I can’t figure out why this is the case.
Here’s a link to an image of the issue:
Here’s the URL to the page using the header:
Thanks.It resolved.
I have one more question.
I access via Smartphone and push these text.
Exit mobile version
Go to mobile version
But Nothing change.
Please advise.

Good Calin, I’m setting up the mobile page, but it turns out that in the end my name and my photo appear on the main page, how can I remove it or code so that it does not show it on that page.
I put this command but it doesn’t apply or I don’t know.
.page-id-21738 saboxplugin-wrap{display:none;}

Hi!
In fact, it seems that it is related to jquery, not comment-reply (at least in the audit I did).
I’ve already tried to use Mobile Theme, but it did not fulfill the needs of my site (it is very poor, and the layout is a little bit strange).
Thanks for the recommendation, but no thanks. (I’ll keep only using it for AMP).
Hi, I would like to try to decrease the page rendering time.
It would be ideal to convert newspaper.woff font icons to svg.
Earlier I pointed out that the woff file could be converted to woff2, losing about 50% of the size.
Now I would like to ask if you can evaluate the possibility of converting all the icons in the svg format, or maybe just some icons such as those of the hamburger menu and of the search, usually immediately displayed on mobile devices.
I only use 2 icons for the header, the arrows icons and the icons (in the posts) for sharing on social networks. Loading 100kb of woff fonts seems excessive to me (especially on mobile).
Currently it seems to me there is the possibility to use the svg format only for the logo. I’m using it, and it helps the page rendering speed.
Thank you.
Hello,
Please edit the mobile page that you create => https://prnt.sc/10c8t5d and there make the changes.
Thank you!
Hi,
On mobile devices, the header ad is automatically 300×250 while in the theme settings I specify that it should be 320×50. See the screenshot here: https://ibb.co/0FpnYvW
This is quite annoying because 300×250 is so huge on a mobile. See the screenshot here: https://ibb.co/4TP4t9m Adding an Adsense with the fixed size 320×50 is not an option because on laptop / pc the size of the header must be ad 728×90 and on other devices another size. That is why I chose responsive ads.
Hopefully you can help me.
Hello,
I saw you use the mobile theme plugin, if you want to have the responsive version you can disable the mobile theme plugin on that homepage from the Gutenberg editor using the following option => https://www.screencast.com/t/axXRJsWby
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
I think it happens because I tried to use mobile pages created with tagdiv composer but I removed created pages due to unsatisfying work (sometimes on deskop I saw mobile version of page)
Are there any options to change the website navigation?
I would have presumed it was possible to choose between several mobile navigation options.
It appears that the logo has to be on a dark grey banner between a left-hand side burger menu and a magnifying glass.
• Can I change the colour of the header to white?
• Can I hide the search facility across the entire site (desktop and mobile)
• Can I change how the mobile menu looks when opened?
– Do I need to add a full bleed image?
Something weird happened to me. I use neither mobile theme nor amp but when i check my website from my phone, there’s blank page. Desktop version works fine. Here you can it check here
Hello,
Hope you’re doing great.
Does someone have some clue why my wine template doesn’t showing anything with the mobile theme ?
I have installed AMP, doing all the setting, same on theme panel but my mobile theme only show newspaper and latest article ?
Thanks in advance,
Hello,
I have to add the featured image class on mobile devices (using the tagdiv mobile plugin). How can I know what is the class of the featured image of the articles in mobile version? (using tagdiv mobile)
I have added the logo, retina logo, mobile logo but still the actual website shows only the plain text instead of logo. I tried everything but it doesnt seem to help.
Hello !
This seems to be a WordPress issue as you can see here:https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/47510 We have tested on our side Mobile Theme and this issue is not here. You can use the Mobile Theme plugin.
Thank you !
Hello,
Normally if you have selected the language from Theme Panel -> Translations -> Load an available translation should also apply on Mobile Theme => https://www.screencast.com/t/jAW6uiEuqs, but if there are elements that do not are translated as here => https://www.screencast.com/t/AD6hpWInX those elements come from WordPress and are not adapted to be translated for mobile theme plugin, but in the future, we will introduce them for mobile theme plugin.
The only solution is to change the name in the file of the theme wp-includes/comment-template.php => https://i.imgur.com/tyckOB2.png
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi Anamaria,
Thanks again for your support! Appreciate it.
My mentions regarding mobile web page was only meant to let you know if that might have somehow bugged something 🙂
I’ve looked up your screenshots but there’s no images that I’ve uploaded and that I can remove.. Not in image and not in text so I’m still a bit lost here.
Sorry for the ongoing questions but is there any other way I can fix this?
Many thanks,
Faris

Hello,
You can create a mobile page for mobile where you can adjust the content with tagDiv Composer.
Please check this topic to understand how you can assign the mobile pages to your website: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/edit-mobile-version/
Let me know about your results!
Thank you!
Hello !
It looks like your elements have been created using tagDiv composer. You can achieve that by using the CSS tab only on the mobile device viewport as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/p12y9ZVR
You can set the top margin with a negative, -25 for example, adjust it to your desire.
Thank you !
If you look at https://geeksociety.com.au/2021/03/03/whats-on-mar-3-9/ on a mobile device right now it is using the smartlist but if you tap next it will just reload the same page over
Hello,
I saw you created a mobile page, but the header and footer are taken from the standard ones. All you have to do is edit the mobile page, and in Manager (Website Manager) you need to import or the easy way is to convert the existent header like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/z924EIRIMr1Y
The same must be done for the footer.
I checked and I didn’t see a certain block missing.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
