Before posting this, I have referred to many articles on the forum.
A summary of what I did:
- Updated to latest version of the theme. Before update my mobile score was 22.
https://imgur.com/a/jfFwk89
This was checked multiple times over a span of 15-20 days. -
After update my mobile speed has reduced to 19.
https://imgur.com/undefined - Still optimistic, I installed and activated the mobile theme. My mobile speed has increased to 34.
-
If the mobile version is meant to load faster and make the site light, why is the speed below average? I am not expecting a 90 or 100, but somewhere between 60-80, is that possible?
I can see majority of the lag is caused by render blocking resources many of which are javascripts and css. Is there a way to optimise this?
P.s – I have tried w3 super cache, autooptimize and several similar tools but no luck.
Please can you suggest a solution for this asap? This has already hugely affected my site rankings.
this bug is also and in your demo 🙂
have a look in mobile
Hi
url is https://misterbudget.pl/
problem: while menu is correctly displaying on desktop, there is no drop down menu on mobile nor tablet view https://ibb.co/61TD4vx
I tried switching header styles and layouts in theme panel to no avail. While i suspect solution is simple, I cannot find it by my own.
Also how can I move logo to the left on mobile like it’s on desktop?
panel -> mobile theme -> custom css
dont work for AMP !!
any solution to add custom css in AMP version ?
Hi,
1. If you are using the responsive version (not the mobile theme plugin), then your traffic should be track.
2. For the moment I can not see you have some posts or pages with amp also this is the menu I see -> https://i.imgur.com/xro4CZl.png please set it from Appearance > menus too -> https://i.imgur.com/UckFoiA.png
Thank you!
Hi, I have a problem with pics (mobile theme) only!
Have a look at http://scandal.life/
Pls, help 🙂
Hi,
If you have a mega menu on desktop and you also have the mobile theme plugin then the mega menu will not be display in mobile menu, only the normal menus with sub-menus will be display on mobile theme plugin. What you can do is to create a new menu with sub-menus and set it on mobile.
Thank you!
Got it!
While we are on the AMP:
1. If i won’t add GA json code to AMP Analytics it wont track mobile visits? It should do this after adding the regular code.
2. When i click the menu button on AMP, i see: “Click here – to use the wp menu buildier” but i have selected my default menu, but its not visible on mobile, you can check: https://artisanmarket.org
Hello !
If you mean the menu on mobile device you will have to edit the menu by going into Dashboard – Appearance – Menus, select the location of the menu and edit it. Please note that this feature comes from wordpress. For more information you can follow this tutorial: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide
Thank you !
Hello !
The thumbnails come from the wordpress option here: https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/tips-tricks/how-to-change-thumbnail-size-in-wordpress-and-why-you-want-to
The designs do not match because you are using the mobile theme. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor.
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you !
Is it possible to add multiple scripts to the mobile ads in the mobile theme settings?
I need two scripts for the Article Bottom section.
Hello i use the element Big flex 10 mobile and in mobile view the second and third article the image not display properly
Hello,
I am using the Newspaper10 mobile plugin along with the AMP plugin. Everything works fine except for the menu. I noticed the mega menu does not work for the mobile plugin (see screenshot below) I have 10 subcategories under “Recetas” that do not get display. Is there any I can do to fix this? or would you recommend to make a separate mobile menu? Please advised

Hello !
Unfortunately we cannot access your websites.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you !
I already did that and now I have two Shop pages, Custom build for desktop and default one for mobile, ‘cos the one I build in tdcomposer is not visible on mobile/amp pages for some reason.
How to change thumb size for woocommerce ‘cos product thumbs are not sharp, woocommerce Display feature is in the Customizer > WooCommerce > Products on other themes and Newspaper don’t have standard Customizer? I tried with Theme panel > Thumbs on modules/blocks and there is no woocommerce option there.
Same problem, changed logo, saved as png, deleted old logo, cleared cache, inserted new logo on just desktop view and still received same error.
I removed logo from mobile view and obviously errors stopped there… but this is not something I like as I prefer my logo to be seen on mobile view.

https://prnt.sc/qf9920 How do I activate this setting?
The solution for preview has worked.
What about the issue below as quoted above
Plus Mobile Horizontal menu does not work on the category which have submenu. Like on my first item on the Mobile horizontal menu which news, it’s not clickable. (this does not work at all even when the standard plugin is active or not).
The mobile horizontal menu is only active on mobile.
NB: Categories that don’t have submenus are clickable on mobile horizontal menu, But with sub-menu are not clickable.
Email sent but no response.
“The amp plugin with mobile theme plugin with one of these options -> https://i.imgur.com/qZE0eZq.png” : (NOT WORKING) i have tested and i am getting this error.

Please Fix this issue.
Hi sastrysk,
The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se
Since Newspaper v9.7.4 you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> http://prntscr.com/oh6r2s you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
So in order to have the same layout you can disable the mobile theme plugin or set the page on responsive version.
Also the content that appear on mobile theme can be edit in theme panel> Footer > footer info content -> https://i.imgur.com/LTvyruS.png
Thank you!
Hello !
You can remove it, but you will have to use a cloud template header. After creating your header you will be able to edit it using the tagDiv Composer and click on an element, and then you can select the mobile viewport as you can see it here: https://www.screencast.com/t/F5mZOPjL3 All the edits done will affect only that viewport.
I hope this was helpful !
Thank you !
Thanks I have changed the credetials.
Can you please look into my Issue and solve this on Mobile. The Section coming under Footer on Homepage
Merry Christmas,
I have newspaper WordPress theme installed on our site.
We added the optional mobile theme there and have a couple questions regarding this.
Number #1) at first to make changes on my footer (before I installed mobile theme), I would make changes on the site by editing the footer in the DIVTAG editor by manipulating the footer menu.
However now since installing the mobile theme I notice there are 2 copyright symbols in the footer of the mobile site and no matter what I do in the footer it does not help me in the slightest as it registers no changes.
Is there somewhere else I can be making these changes?
Also I changed the font in the mobile theme and it still shows a more modern font in the footer as well. What can I do to fix these 2 problems.
#2) after installing the mobile theme we were at 92-98 score for mobile Speedtest google which was awesome! Was totally satisfied with this, as most would be.
Now having the site just running, no changes whatsoever (except adding Google Adsense ads) the page speedtest dropped to 37! Is this normal?
Thanks in advance for feedback 🙂
When I deactivated the Mobile Plugin. Everything comes fine on mobile but some other block is coming after the Footer. On mobiles please check the homepage URL https://maahyderabad.in
There is no option to do it in the mobile theme as of now. The only way to achieve it would be to disable the mobile theme plugin, this will make the theme to become automatically responsive for the mobile view. Do try it out.
