That function is used in the post template files – http://prntscr.com/of8epj
You could remove it from the single template files – http://prntscr.com/of8gvt
Also lower in the template files – http://prntscr.com/of8h75
So removing this code from the template files should not load them anymore. You could try it like that.

The booster could cause problems when some resources are moved, maybe the CSS that hides the desktop logo on mobile is not applying anymore, so both logos are visible. Try removing what you moved in the booster one at a time, while checking when or if the issue is solved.

Maybe I misunderstood what exactly you want to remove (hentry) please mention with more details what is is you want to remove exactly. Let me know.

Hello !

The white spacing issue seems to be very strange, on mobile emulators works fine everywhere, on mobile devices it shows the white space. Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

I’m sorry, here is the CSS to bold out the last updated text:

.last-updated {
font-weight: bold;
}

I hope this was more helpfull !

Thank you !

Hi,

From what I can see the mobile theme is not active at the moment. If it’s active the website should look like this live theme demo (on mobile or mobile emulator)
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/

Some caching/optimization plugins or settings from them could cause problems with the mobile theme. We recommend where possible to use the WP super cache plugin with these settings – https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Let us know if you have more questions.

Thanks

Hi, The problem is still there on mobile – you need to go into the site not homepage and see the top of the page it is a large white space.

The updated date is now hidden on the homepage, thanks. – maybe somebody else here can tell me how to make it bold on the single posts page.

Thanks for your help

Hi,

The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se

Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/

Also for the 3 blocks, you’ll need to have set same feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4

Or you can use the responsive version of the theme, for this just deactivate the mobile theme.

Thank you!

Hi,

I have checked your website URL and I saw that your AMP is working on your pages, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/1OmJsB0LtGaR You are using the Mobile Theme + AMP. The Mobile Theme has a certain behavior on pages and allows you only a grid with the latest articles. Please check the theme functionality when you are using the mobile theme. Check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!

Hi,

Yes, you are right! When you are using the mobile theme, you will need to edit that header file which is assigned to your mobile theme functionality!

Thank you!

Annnnnd I seem to have fixed it. Can’t tell you what happened or how I fixed it. I stripped all the plugins intended to optimize the website. I have the mobile menu back and the entire website is loading faster. Weird.

After updating Newsmag to 4.9, my Posts page (https://piracymonitor.org/blog/) is broken. Two problems:

1) The page was designed to contain a text block that with text that introduces the content for for this page. But this content no longer appears at all (it is supposed to appear above the posts).

2) The filter for the block that I am using to display the actual posts was set to show only the posts that are categorized as ‘BLOG.’ However, the page now shows ALL posts, regardless of category.

When I attempted to use tagDiv Composer to access my Blog page to re-establish the text block and the filter, the WordPress admin console tells me that tagDiv Composer can no longer be used on the Posts page.

See screenshot https://ibb.co/WgnHMvr

Also, the mobile version of my home page no longer contains the same content of the home page that shows in a Web browser. I made no changes. The 4.9 update broke this.

What next? Step by step instructions please! Thank you.

Looks like the formatting is correct on many of the posts (unlike the home page). There is a hamburger and it opens the menu for navigation. However, it doesn’t work when you click the links.

Please let me know what I need to do to get the mobile menu fixed on my website. I am heading out of town this week and 80% of my web traffic comes in on mobile devices.

The answer is posted, just scroll down to July 12th, 2019. You need to update your CSS code.

I do not have the mobile theme activated. The mobile version of the navigation menu isn’t working. The formatting is off kilter for the mobile version of the website. The hamburger menu is not appearing. Instead it is an outline of the menu structure, which is throwing off the formatting of every page/post.

Any suggestions? Did I mess something up in my settings? It happened when the version of Newspaper with the mobile platform came out. Initially I installed it, but it removed too many crucial elements so I disabled it. My menu hasn’t worked properly since then and the formatting of all posts and pages is impacted by the menu issue.

The desktop version is fine.

I modified a post to add a review, the review shows up on mobile theme but I can’t get the review to show up on the cloud template theme.

Anything I need to look for?

So upon doing the edits myself, I found out that in order to hide the header ads on mobile, you need to go to wp-content > plugins > td-composer > mobile > header.php and from there do the following code edits -> https://i.imgur.com/IIpSCnb.jpg

Save the changes and it will hide the mobile header ads on 404 pages.

Hello,

Apologies for the late reply. Unfortunately, there’s still an ad code showing on a mobile device. I can’t post the URL here so if it’s possible, can you please send me a private message?

The ad code showing in the 404 page came from the ads that I added on theme panel > mobile > header ad.

Thank you.

Hi – just starting to install the video theme – but cannot get it to show images, videos, on the mobile version using my iPhone – anyone have a solution, please

Hi Vlad, the problem still persists – the mobile still has white space at top, even though I moved the code to the other area. https://pasteboard.co/InDXq28.jpg

I do not know what you mean by activate it in functions – it is already activated as per screenshot and it doesn’t work as the problem is still there. https://pasteboard.co/InCocUS.png

Also, is there a way on the posting page that it can be darker or bold? SO that visitors notice that it was updated.

Thanks

Vincent

Hello !

We are sorry but this option is not available using the Mobile Theme.

You can disable the Mobile theme if you like but unfortunately there are no other ways.

Thank you !

Hello !

The designs do not match because you are using the mobile theme. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme. Cloud templates are included. They do no work while having mobile theme.

Also i’ve taken a look into your menu but everything seemed to work fine. Make sure you don’t have a plugin conflict. Disable all non-theme related plugins and try to see if the issue appears.

Hope this was helpful !

Thank you !
