Has anyone seen any large drops in traffic/rankings from the recent Google algorithm update? We’ve experienced around an 80-90% drop in Google traffic, and almost all of our keywords have dropped out of the top 100.
We’re using Newspaper with the mobile theme set for mobile + amp.
One issue I’ve noticed is that homepage pagination doesn’t appear to work and with mobile-first indexing, Google has indexed mysite.com/page/2 and then a few hundred paginated urls.
Was hoping to see if any other Newspaper users who utilize the tagdiv mobile theme for mobile devices (and therefore Google crawlers) have also noticed any major drop in rankings/traffic from Google.

I have recently started using the Tag Div Composer to replace original publish date to modified date on single post pages. However, when I check on my phone (not resizing browser), I still see the original published date.

2) can I choose mobile theme as a mobile just for menu and for rest of the things choose AMP (mobile theme for menu in mobile theme + amp at a time?)

I’ve created a page using tagdiv composer.
The page loaded as per expected on desktop version but if viewed on tablet or mobile, it will return a blank page excluding header and footer.

1.We get that often, googles measurement is not very accurate. Sometime it doesn’t load the style.css so that’s why you will receive that error.
2.To increase your mobile page speed we recommend using the Mobile Theme. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme: https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/

I’ve followed the instructions to update the recent theme.
I updated the required plugins in the theme welcome page in wordpress. But “tagDiv Mobile Theme” is coming up with ajax error and hasn’t updated. How can I update this? Thanks.

2. The mobile theme has it’s own functions file, try entering it there

3. There is an issue in the latest theme version, the sub-menu arrows that should appear in the mobile menu modal are hidden. The fix is to enter this code in the theme panel custom CSS section

@zekavr There is an issue currently in the theme, the sign-in/join option doesn’t appear on mobiles in the modal – http://prntscr.com/nxtnl8
So on mobile the only way to login would be through the default wordpress login /wp-admin, until the issue is fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

In article, when i join a pict, i choose original size to fit.It’s good for desktop but on mobile miss some parts of the pict. So i choose lower size for desktop, but pict is too small.
How can i choose the fit size for desktop and mobile?

Its also true for the search menu which is coming from the other side.

it works correctly on my server, but it has issues when google starts storing it on their server
possibly redo the mobile theme so it will work after it gets imported there, afterall we need it to look good when its finally on their server
