Hello,
I’ve activated the Mobile Theme plugin from Newspaper. I understand there is a second content block that is displayed on pages – that is not the issue here.
We are using a completely custom template file. This template file is not being pulled in on the mobile version, even though the template is still selected.
Do I need to make a second template for the mobile version? If so, where does it live? Or, how do I get the existing template to be pulled in (I had expected it already would).

You should try the code below and place it in Theme panel. This code will overwrite the color of the post title in homepage post.

Please keep in mind that is too hard to replicate your problem on my side…you should leave the issue at your website so I can inspect it closer and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response. If you delete errors how can I inspect them? On the future, you have to leave there your problems so we can take a closer look at them.

Hi! I just bought the theme as I was using the free one and really like it.
However, after purchasing, I have noticed things got a bit more complicated than on the free version.
For example, On the widget area, I don’t seem to find anymore the full-width slider. On the other side I need to create a slider from scratch with a plugin now… any idea if I am missing something?
Another thing, I have noticed that while deciding different templates for the home page, it seems like I can’t get rid of the option of “latest articles”. Any idea how to get rid of it? I would like to create for now a neater HP, with less articles on it.

Edit the actual default page php template to add the sidebar like in the single post template is best way.

I have updated the newspaper theme to version 7.6 and now I cannot get the sidebar to work. On previous occasions I changed the page template and that helped. Now with none of the templates I get the sidebar to show on the page. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

I think it have to be done in the visual composer. Can you tell me the the
standard page name of the template, as it appear/set on the demo (your website). I am running the same configuration of the theme, but i can´t find the tags like “Fashion Week” or “Gadget World”, and so on.

For your first request, please notice that you are using the Page Builder plus Latest Articles modules as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/wLPILREDTpLZ If you want to have control over this section you should edit your homepage and from Latest Articles section you can change the module for it, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/sVjD8BLt Regarding on footer section, please notice that this type of style is default created and if you want to change it you should edit the theme core files according to this footer template. so, if you want to remove it you simply can use a bit of CSS code to do that. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area.

Cool, I’ll have to try some of those out…
My problem is more specifically on the blocks that you put on the front page of my website.
When you click on the category, the thumbnails are square, but on the front page, the thumbnails are more horizontal…
Is there a way to make the thumbnails on the blocks so they are square and not horizontal?
Also, where do you go to change this “On each category you can set a Category template style, a Top post style (grids) and a module type for article listing. Also each top post style (grids) have 5 different look style. You can mix them to create a beautiful and unique category page.”

Unfortunately there is no simple way of doing it except hard-coding it. The post templates are created for posts. There are specific containers and css that were created for that post template in particular. You will have to create a custom page template and add the containers and css yourself to replicate the post style. I cannot provide any solution for this as there is no simple one. You will have to create the html structure and the css that goes along with it. You can create a replica of it in visual composer by adding a stretched row with a black background and a video inside of it. But you will not be able to add the breadcrumbs inside it though. That is why you need to hard-code it.

So, if you want to disable the bottom module which contains the latest posts you should change the page template to another. Hi. I figured out the problem, but I cannot figure out the solution.
The problem is NOT what I stated in my previous emails. I stated that the sub-footer was skewed too far to the right. However, I realized later that the problem is with the social icons in the footer (not sub-footer). These social icons are skewed to the LEFT compared to all the other elements on my homepage screen. So I looked for some margin or padding issues in the CSS.
In the following CSS, when I changed ‘margin-right’ to 0, the social icons became closer together, but they also became perfectly centered. So the problem is that 30px is being put to the right of the right-most social icon (for me, the YouTube icon):

I am not familiar enough with the CSS and which classes govern which elements. I like having the 30px in between the elements, but obviously there should be ‘margin-right: 0’ for the final (right-most) social icon.

Generally you can’t unless you create a custom template. Note CSS is very small if minified. Often you simply create a custom class like “.specialposty” and put that in your style.css at the bottom, or in the custom CSS box in theme panel.
.customposty{font-size:30px;border-bottom:4px:}
or whatever.
Then in your special post/page, just call that
<div class="customposty">
My special CSS for just this one page on site.
</div>something like that.
If trying to modify existing classes on just one page; you might have to modify a template and name it after the post ID, where you would append a class to the existing inline classes. If that makes no sense, you might want to try different approach entirely.

The featured image appear on modules and also on post page, there is no solution to set 2 images.
A solution can be to set a featured image on your post which will appear on blocks/modules and add an image into the post content which will appear on post page. We bought the NewsMag template and we are very happy with it. We have two questions about our template, i’ll be very happy if you can help us.
– At the home-page there’s a youtube videos playlist. We want to list the last (recent) videos at our channel, instead of insert a lot of video IDs (that youtube’s video url ID). Is that possible?
– We want to disable everything about comments at our template, we want to deactivate and hide everything about comments (at admin and at website).

In practice, every time I publish an article, delete a category or just try to see a preview of an article that I will publish the site “loads the page” and then hangs with white screen on this url “http: // www .ilmiosito.it / wp-admin / post.php “.
