Thanks for your help @Calin, that’s working really nicely and looks really good.
One last question, and it may not be possible, but if I am using a percentage score for reviews, how can I display % after the score?
Currently it just shows the number (eg – 90), and I’d ideally like it to show 90%.
Many thanks,
stuart
Hello,
I’ve updated my site’s Newspaper theme to v9.75 as well as all plugins and WP. The included WPBakery Page Builder plugin v.5.7 is installed and visible in ‘Edit Page’ view.
Even with all non-Newspaper plugins turned off my website home page layout is jumbled and some secondary pages are blank. See original, pre-update site here; Marketwisetrader.com. The post update, development clone updated version is here; //mkdv.meta-morphos.es
The WPBakery post page layouts seems to have survived. Secondary pages for ‘Store’, are blank whether WooCommerce plugin is on or off.
I built the site’s page layouts using WPBakery Page Builder. When I now view the page layouts back end view with WPBakery selected, the row and collum layouts with blocks looks correct. When I preview the same pages however, image sizing is off, and row/collum and block location is out of order.
Could you view this and suggest how I can correct this?
Will the back end editor, WPBakery be phased out in the future?
Will there be a problem in the future if some pages are ‘legacy’ having been built with WPBakery, and others built from front end with TagDiv Composer?
Thanks,
Lon K
I’m reviewing my pages in Search Console and I do not know why I get an error “the page is not optimized for mobile devices”
I have activated the mobile theme and also the amp plugin configured as MOBILE + AMP

Hello Simion,

The store products page is blank. The post pages seemed to do better.

Thank you !
After I started using the child theme, post preview is kinda broken:

How can I we fix this?
Hi,
If you want to display the review value from 0-19 all you need to do is to remove in from the // converts the rating to 0-5 to be used with stars -> https://www.screencast.com/t/nqHhrEtet -> https://www.screencast.com/t/RXYzJMYPmW2 and from converts the rating to 0-5 to be used with stars -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Q6tyXA9EkkO5 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/zOBEfg49uR
Unfortunately this -> https://imgur.com/a/xgZYyV3 can be achieve only with custom work, you need to do it yourself through the code and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take, in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hey all, got a weird one for you.

Check out this page, that’s a cover image that seems to be hanging way over to the left out of the page. The same happens if I use a “text with image” block with Gutenberg. Any ideas?
I’m using the theme Default Demo and I’m in trouble, I scroll down to a sub menu appears, instead of having my logo or site name only appears in Newspaper, in the place where I choose what will appear I put another name and not Mute continues to appear Newspaper. like the image below
Hi,
we would like to add a tagdiv block 9 widget to the sidebar, which will display the best reviewed posts form the past 8 weeks. The score is filled out in the back end via an ACF field called “score”.
We are now looking for a way to implement that number in addition to the metadata, where in block 9 we have the author and date.
I had alook in the /includes/shortcodes/td_block_9.php file but couldn’t find where to add my custom code, is there another place I need to be looking ? thanks
@Calin, We have already done this and still continue the maximum value of 0-5, we want to leave 0-10. Since your review is scheduled to be only 5 stars, that’s the reason for the problem. Please visit Mr. Buzz’s website and see how we want it. At the end of the post, I would also like to leave that format as it is displayed on their site (with the featured image, the conclusion alongside the author’s considerations and the review score). As shown at the end of this post, here’s the image to show you what I’m talking about for the third time https://imgur.com/a/xgZYyV3. How can we do that?
About how to leave in the format in circle, appears next to the image with the punctuation we already know how to do. Inspecting the element is pretty easy to figure out the css. The problem is and I REPEAT, the score does not go beyond 5, and the question of how to leave the conclusion of the review as I have specified above (here the image again:). I hope it was clear this time. Thank you for your attention and I await your response. Hugs.
Here is a preview link to a page using the template. It is Single Post 35.

Still not sure I’m getting through on the second question. I am using a plugin for the social sharing buttons, and I don’t want the buttons to show up. Do I have to clear all the social sharing URLs in the theme panel to make them go away?
Recently I install a demo (restro) from the newspaper paper install demo tab. now I’m editing this demo but I can’t because my wp-bakery plugin not working properly only showing codes, not any previews, as you can see in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/nrt0gz and when I choosing tagDiv Composer for editing it saying the current hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer http://prntscr.com/nrt1xg. Please tell me how to fix WP bakery plugin.
Hi @decovca,
Please check this similar topic for displaying the review stars in number -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/display-review-in-post-featured-image/
Thank you!
@Calin We still have the same problem, we can not leave the score of 0-10. And in the part of the summary where it appears the conclusion of the review continues with the same layout. I’d like to leave it that way. https://imgur.com/a/xgZYyV3
Hi,
Unfortunately, the theme review section does not have any such an option for that, sorry! That theme section is a simple one which does not have any such additional settings for another functionality. So, if you want to achieve this, you need to make some deeper changes in the theme core files and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry! In that case, you can try finding such a plugin especially for Review and check it how it works. Usually, we recommend the developers from studio.envato.com.
Thank you!
Hi,
sorry, I don’t got your point and it seems you didn’t understood me right. 🙂
I got three images.
1. Image1 – Regular Award
2. Image2 – Gold Award
3. Image3 – Platin Award
I need to change the code, so that the right image will be selected by review ratings.
For “1” to “8” the regular award is OK. But for “9” it will the gold award and for “10” it will be the platin award.

I know, how I get the review points, but I don’t know how to modify your undocumented code in the tdb_single_review_overall.php, to built-in an “If/else” query. Any ideas? 🙂
Hello. Could I create a sample page using td composer to make it look like this site? http://www.pushsquare.com/games/ps4/what_remains_of_edith_finch Each game would have your own page showing everything that is related to it, like the latest news, reviews, images etc ….
And a page that shows all the games that are present in this database, as shown on this site: http://www.pushsquare.com/games/browse
If so, how could I do this? Could you explain to me in a simple way how I could do this? Thanks in advance!
We created a post template using TD composer. The Euro NCAP rating, Green NCAP rating and review sections all use a custom plugin we commissioned, which pull their data from a custom database.
That is our development site; this is where we have the aggregated reviews on our public site: https://www.thecarexpert.co.uk/new-car-ratings/
Hi decovca, thanks for your help.
I have added that code, and it now displays numbers from 0-5 instead of stars. See here: http://compareallvans.co.uk/reviews/
However, what I would like is for the original scoring system in the review to be used (we use either points out of 10 or a percentage) rather than converting it to a five-star rating (or a number out of 5, which is basically the same thing).
We score our own reviews out of 10 and we use a percentage score for aggregated reviews, and I would like the blocks to reflect the original format used instead of converting them to a format we don’t use.
Hello.
Try to do this that was said in another post regarding this problem. If it works out, please let me know.
“Hi,
In order to have the number review instead of stars reviews you need to make some changes in theme files.
Please go in wp-content\themes\Newspaper\includes\wp_booster\td_review.php
https://www.screencast.com/t/1DNuz8yBLEQ
Please add this code
return self::calculate_total_stars($td_review);
https://www.screencast.com/t/xPWeJpZrWp
Resultants: https://www.screencast.com/t/jowv4EF9
Thank you for your understanding.”

Hi Calin,
That CSS looks fantastic, but it still leaves the scores in a star format rather than points or percentages. Please see here:
http://compareallvans.co.uk/reviews/
Is there a way to have this set so that it follows the scoring format used by the post? This would also be helpful across the theme’s post blocks and schema markup, so hopefully it’s something that can be included in a future update.
Many thanks for your time, as always.

Hi,
You can try this custom css
.entry-review-stars{
text-align: center;
color: #fee400!important;
font-size: 20px;
font-weight: 600;
position: absolute;
margin-top: 10px!important;
margin-left: 10px!important;
background: #222222;
border: solid 4px white;
border-radius: 100px;
padding: 0px;
padding-top: 9px;
height: 50px;
width: 50px;
z-index: 2;
}
If there is still a problem, please provide me a link were I can the problem.
Thank you!
Hello !
Unfortunately this is all I can do for you, maybe you’ll find some plugins to achieve what you need.
Top 14 Review Plugins for WordPress with Schema Markup 2019 -> https://colorlib.com/wp/review-plugins-wordpress/
Thank you!
I found a solution for this issue here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/theme-panel-not-work-2/
I had to go to /wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/single/
and modify loop-single-1.php with the php code.
Is it possible to do this with cloud templates, some of the single cloud templates are amazing. The Single Post cloud template I chose “Review Template 1” is there a way to get a hold of the raw php files of these?
