as you can see I’ve used ‘block 1’ as the ‘News segment’. But now all the categories are shown to the right of ‘News’ I just want the sub-news categories there. How is this possible? Like this is done here with ‘world news’

I have since created a static home page so don’t need the preview post text question answered anymore but still need to know how to modify header and footer. Also my sidebar widgets went away (switched to a big grid for my home page) and was trying to recreate my sidebar again. Tried adding a column to right of big grid but didn’t see a tag cloud element I could add like I had on my homepage originally, so how do I do that as well?
I installed the Craft Idea demos with just the settings. I’ve been tinkering with it to make edits the way I want my page to look but I’m stymied in a few places. The demo has that top main header background as a yellow color and I can’t find where to change it even after looking through theme colors which is where I thought it would be. I’d like to make it either red or perhaps try inserting an image there that could stretch across the entire background. Also in the footer section, I input my e-mail address in the field but there’s an About Me section above it which I can’t find how to change. (There was some about me text from the demo which I deleted since I already have an About Me page and not sure I want to have a tiny blurb down there about myself as well.) As for my recent blog posts that are being displayed, I’m curious if I can change the way the preview post text is formatted. Right now it’s center justified and I’m thinking about doing full justification but I can’t figure out how to change that as well. My homepage shows the latest posts so I’m not using a static page so I don’t have an actual specific home page.
Hi,
Adding margins or padding to the elements on the page may break the layout and design. The theme modules and blocks are predefined with fixed values, adding margins to them will most likely damage them.
You could review the codes and see why that is happening and avoid it, also you can use the Advanced CSS sections in the theme panel. Create code based on device if necessary using those sections

Two requests:
1) How can I reduce the height of my header in desktop view? I’m talking about the blue area around my logo — my logo image is just as high as its text, and there’s a lot of unnecessary padding.
2) I’d like to remove the dotted lines around the subtitle (which I’ve moved underneath the featured image) and also make the text black. How can I do so?

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such a tested plugin with this functionality, sorry! Notice that the DutchReview plugin has not been tested with the theme and we have no idea about the theme behavior with this plugin, sorry! You should find a plugin with this functionality and check how it will work. We cannot make any recommendation in this case, sorry!

I have sports news website on newspaper theme and i get most of my articles through news agency Content API, API is been integrated and everything is fine with that.
As articles are from news agency, they add their analytic code and some other script at the end of each articles for licencing purpose
The problem is that the code is displaying when i activate mobile theme which is really strange because when viewing articles on desktop it does not display. also when i detective mobile theme the code also does not display on mobile as well.
This is very strange issue with tagDiv Mobile Theme. i know Newspaper theme is responsive and does not need mobile theme but i like mobile theme because of its simple and light design so would love to use but this code displaying error with mobile theme is really bad and i can not find solution.

I can no longer generate a live preview to customize the theme. Also when I go to the widgets customization, that is having issues as well. I can see my widgets but it will not allow me to select anything. I am using NewsMag 4.2

1. Just noticed when my homepage comes up in search results it looks like this. You can see the long line of snippet text going off the page. My text is good in Yoast, and I couldn’t find snippet text option – perhaps “Pages” don’t have that. Any fixes for this?

I have tried to set up a Menu using the TagDiv and the Appearances tab. In the composer I can I see the menu and the window works but when I save and go to preview the menu does not show up. Same with setting it in the appearances tab. I click save and the menu disappears.
Can you be able to implement a features on the site or tell how to do it…

How do I just get a simple mega menu like in the Newspaper default preview under “homepages” mega menu? It’s defaulting to the images sub menu and I’m not sure I want that.

I managed to resolve the logo issue, I think it was something with making the logo sticky. Right now it’s not sticky, and it’s displaying correctly.
Regarding the fonts, as I said, I tinkered a lot with the backend font settings. I wouldn’t write if I hadn’t checked.
For example, on the current frontpage, for the the life of me, I can’t find which one is changes the image titles (not the homepage post). It’s set as 46 px and 37px line height, I cannot nothing that matches that. This is just one example.
Other Examples:
– Homepage > Image block titles
– Blog post >Title
– On Category page > title and body
– in post editor (in backend) the font is different vs. in preview
Maybe it in the modules MX etc. part where I can find my answers, but they’re not marked what does what.
So I’m still stuck.

I have tried to access your website but no success because your website it seems to be in maintenance mode, sorry! Please, notice that we do not encourage to use such a Custom CSS code to increase the logo section because the theme layout could be more easily broken, sorry! Make sure that your logo size is according to our documentation because if you will check our demo preview you will see that the logo works as expected. Try to use our logo from Newspaper, take it from demo preview, add it to your website and check the results. Clear all the caches after this and see the results.

Hi So i uploaded your theme and didnt activate it while i was building my site, then i got this error: Robots.txt blocked.
Then i used your theme on another site and didnt activate it and the same thing happened… Do you block the site from indexing if the theme is not activated?
I did the same thing with 3 other sites and worried it will do it to them all.

Please let me know if this is the issue and you can remove the block.
