I installed the Newspaper Tech-News Theme….. and I changed the Categories in the td-demo-header-menu. Suddenly the Preview Pictures to the articles in the Menu bar when you slide the Mouse over it were gone…. What have I done wrong. Because the articles are rightly placed in the categories I defined.

I will try to explain the problem: When I embed tweets in a post using the embed code or URL, everything works fine within the post. But: there is no preview on my blog home page. No image, nothing. Only a grey frame. Do I need a plugin? Or is the newspaper theme not suitable for that? Sorry, but I’m a total WP-beginner…

Indeed, your header ad on mobile seems to be incorrectly displayed but I do not know the cause of it, sorry! I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which can interact with the core files and causes a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of these, remove all of the additional customizations if you are using something like this, clear all the caches and check the results. Check our demo review on mobile and there you will see that the header and is centered as expected.

Our theme needs the widgets to be placed inside a widget sidebar element. Our theme does not support standard sidebars but sidebars grabbed through a tagdiv composer element. That is why it will not work from the live preview button. Please use the tagdiv composer and the widget sidebar element.
As for the social icons, please clear cache and reset cdn files.

I’ve tried modifying the WP Hearbeat and deleting some plugins, although I am wary of deleting ALL of my plugins to see if any of those are the culprit; I may just do that to narrow it down.
2. Occasionally, my site refuses to save new drafts, preview drafts, or publish material. Currently, it throws this error:

The second error has been an intermittent thing. The first one started after updating the theme from 8.1 to 8.6, although I had not made changes in the theme panel for a long time. Could be a connection.

It seems the posts have reviews, and they are hidden with CSS code. That will not be necessary, there are options now to choose if you want to display the review stars or author name and date

A few versions ago that option was not available, posts with reviews would show the reviews only. The author name and date was not displayed in that case.

I found in td_module_6.php and other modules Author name is disabled.
I enabled and now it’s showing the Author name, but not the Author Alias.
What I have to change to display Author Alias in this kind of blocks? You can check http://www.nabarralde.eus to realize the author name in the preview and inside the article it’s not the same.

Official AMP plugin got major update today with pages support and direct preview button integration in main post editor.
Upon further review…the above error is completely unrelated.
I’ve tried to edit the includes/wp_booster/td_wp_booster_functions.php file in both the WP editor and via SFPT for both my child and parent. Both have the line in the instructions you supplied commented out, but the og:image line still shows on my site. I also found that no changes I make to that file actually get rendered on my site. I have worked with a ton of people on my end to ensure this isn’t a cache issue, so the only thing left is an issue with the theme.

I have another question related to this one… How can I display Author name in all article preview in block.
For example in Block 4 there is a related article where it’s display Author name and Date but in the right column there are more articles that only shows the Date.
I checked Theme Panel and activated Author name, but nothing changes.
I want the author name in all kind of Blocks.
just another question, related to the first one. I saw that opening one of the menus, such as “tennis”, it preview the articles related to the tennis category. Also this feature to display article preview from the page menu, where can i manage it? always from the menu settings? thank you very much
