Hi, pretty new to the newspaper theme and trying to create my own custom adverts. I create the image, ad an ad box which shows in the preview but does not show on the live site? Any help would be apprecaited.
Hello!
I need to change the review scores. Currently, if I set points mode, the points range from 0 to 10, while I would need to be able to set them from 0 to 100. How can I do?
Thank you
Hi,
I edit my page with block 15 and it shows 3 columns on the TD Composer, but when I saved and preview it on the actual link it shows 2 columns. How can I make it stays with 3 columns as it shows on the screenshot from the TD Composer?
3 columns: https://tinyurl.com/yyjkjb28
2 columns: https://tinyurl.com/yyp88oqk
Thank you
Hello,
That page is not built with the composer, its dynamic store review page coming from Dokan Pro plugin.
Also there is no edit with composer menu in toolbar: https://prnt.sc/udpz0d
Thanks!
Hi,
You can set a link for the header ad inside that code, so for example
<div class="td-all-devices"><br> </div>
Set it in the code – https://prnt.sc/udgbmk
Thank you!
Hello team,
I am using Dokan Pro to build my site a Multivendor Marketplace. I found an issue with your theme on the store review page, the store review page is broken and showing black on the whole page content area. This issue only happens with your theme, other theme works well.
For example, see this store review page: https://staging.keeptaxisalive.org/store/keeptaxisalive/reviews/
Screenshot:-https://prnt.sc/ubco6n
I contacted Dokan first to fix the issue but after debugging they are saying:-
“I have checked your site and found the problem with your current theme. So, I suggest you please contact the theme developer about that issue. They can provide you a better solution.”
Let me know what is the issue and how to fix it. Thanks!
Hello,
I am doing the same way, and it shows me the preview on the back end correctly but on front end, it simply displays as a blockquote.
Please check think link: shorturl.at/hjBQX
Hi,
Does the post display correctly once you publish it? Could be something wrong just with the preview, if it displays fine when published. I made a quick test on my end with the latest theme and latest WordPress, the preview seems to work properly.
We could take a look at the issue that is happening for you, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login so we can preview a post to see what happens exactly. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
Hello! Preview article not works correctly..
As you can see right sidebar not displayed and also more content: https://ibb.co/k22X74M
why?
Regards
Just for the record, I see no improvements in WP 5.5.1.
1) Still can’t have both Settings and Blocks Library open at the same time (using MacBook Pro 15″)
2) Paragraph still doesn’t automatically recognise pasted HTML code. Elaborate steps are needed to achieve what used to take one pasting keystroke.
3) Default block colours remain changed, arbitrarily.
4) Still only previews in desktop mode, though it shows tablet and mobile views in editor, which is pointless. And of course takes 3 clicks (open dropdown, select open in new tab, click elsewhere to close dropdown). Can’t they at least make dropdown close automatically?
5) No change
6a) No change, doesn’t preserve Most Used Blocks outside current edit
6b) Ok, though can’t see point of design change.
Still, overall with 5.5 WP have created a lot more work for users. Not Newspaper’s problem, of course! Unless there are compatibility issues.
Thanks

Hello! why images in homepage have low quality? https://ibb.co/LYQMdTp
I can see that is 300×160 https://ibb.co/MBqBC07
In article details i can see it in good quality https://ibb.co/SBCv1dM
seems only in preview that quality is not good..

thank you!

1) – for me, I cannot have both Blocks Library and Settings open at the same time. I am on a MacBook, but I think the same applied on my iMac
2) Yes – so one has to work harder, more clicks. Before, I could paste code into a block and the html is immediately recognised – WordPress have created more work for editors.
3) I am referring to WordPress wp-admin/post.php. Under Settings/Block/Colour settings, WordPress have arbitrarily changed the default colours. I used to select a light grey background, around #ededed. WP has changed this to dark grey, perhaps never considering that some users might be using the previous light grey. Consequently I have now to select custom colour and enter #ededed – more keystrokes for the editor
4) Mobile and tablet show reduced column size in the editor but if you select mobile or tablet then hit Preview, you always get a desktop preview, not mobile or tablet.
5) Yes, a retrograde step by WP – makes more work for the editor.
6a) It doesn’t work for me except within a single post. It won’t retain Most Used when I begin a new post. WP used to retain Most Used for new posts. But that stopped working for me long before 5.5, in an earlier version.
6b) Ok, thanks – I didn’t know WP had moved them.
Overall, I find 5.5, so far, to be worse than the previous but perhaps this will be resolved in an update.
But please do check none of these problems result from incompatibility between Newspaper and WP 5.5…
Mark
Here is a list of problems I have found with WordPress 5.5. Can you tell me if any of these are due to incompatibility with Newspaper (I am using 10.3.6.1) or WP problems? Does everyone else see these problems?
(1) “Settings” closes when Blocks Library is opened.
(2) Paragraph no longer automatically recognises HTML if you paste in HTML – you have to search for and load the block Custom HTML template.
(3) Default Block colours are changed. To get the grey I have used for months I have to execute about 12 keystrokes in typing in a custom colour
(4) Preview: Mobile and Tablet previews don’t work, only Desktop preview loads.
(5) Block library at + at right of new paragraph no longer just scrolls. Need to do a click to open.
(6) In Options:
(a) Enable the Most Used Blocks category in the block library doesn’t work.
(b) Advanced Panels don’t appear, except for Featured Video and Feature Audio. Custom Fields, Yoast SEO, Post Settings and (in my case) Leaky Paywall are missing after checking their boxes.
WP 5.5 has created far more work for me. I have to use many more keystrokes to get the same result as before I updated to 5.5.
Thanks
MG
worked only when saved! – does not work on preview check.
did this work?
I tried do the above steps and no improvement in the preview, so am not saving it.
please advice
I’ve reviewed and followed the most recent Typekit instructions as provided by tagDiv admins, but it’s still not working.
By not working, I mean after implementing the link to the stylesheet (in Theme Fonts panel) and selecting the custom font family, the font for the assigned field sometimes changes and sometimes doesn’t. If it does change, it doesn’t represent the actual font specified in Typekit, but shows up as some sort of general serif font.
To confirm the process, here’s what I’m doing:
– Add no more than 3 fonts to an Adobe Font Web Project.
– Insert the embed code into the Embed Code field in the Adobe/Typekit fonts page on the theme panel. Code looks like this: <link rel=”stylesheet” href=”https://use.typekit.net/bzn7dry.css”>
– Add the appropriate names in the Custom Font Fields in the theme panel.
– Using the tagDiv composer, attempt to edit the Block or Module fonts by selecting the name(s) I’ve entered in the Custom Font Fields.
Wordpress and the theme is fully updated.
Looking for troubleshooting ideas and/or solutions. Thanks in advance.
Hello !
The Newsticker on mobile will show only a preview of the title. Unfortunately it cannot render the whole title because that will become too long and the users will not read it.
Thank you !
I will ask you another thing, since a couple of days I have a bug when I post our articles on our Facebook page. Instead of the usual preview image and text I got just the link of the main page:
Can you help me on this too maybe?
Hi burk2000,
If the steps from the other topic do not helped you to fix the problem with 522 errors and you are sure that this is do to the theme update, the only thing that you can do is to make a full backup and install the previews version of theme -> https://i.imgur.com/cErIHmg.png
Our theme is working to release an update that will fix the problems that were reported and we discover after the theme update, but I can not say when this will be made.
Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,
1. The links/posts that are display at the end of articles can be edited using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/VWPm3LW.png -> https://i.imgur.com/llfT4UZ.png also you can replace this block with a flex block and filter it -> https://i.imgur.com/9Lwvwgl.png
2. Using tagDiv Composer there is no element to add the comment section on pages, this can be done only using the option from theme panel that is a general option for all pages. Also on homepage there is no option using our theme to set the comment section under each box/article, it can display only the number of comments.
3. First you need to set some reviews to your posts/articles using our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/reviews-2/after that you need to edit the single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/YoP015M.png and add the review elements -> https://i.imgur.com/FDcMddl.png
4. What you can do is to use tagdiv Composer and you can flip the row using the order option -> https://i.imgur.com/NGaV2Dj.png or better you can do this per columns -> https://i.imgur.com/9RaZMAX.png
Hope this will help you!
I have installed the awesome “newspaper theme” and the “gadgets pro” demo without content on my blog excelmee.com.
Everything is fine so far except creating new pages!
I have created an “About Me” page (not using the TagDiv composer) by clicking Pages > Add New WordPress menu.
When I preview I could see that the alignment of the page title is not perfect. It’s behind the title and logo.
I haven’t published the page. So unable to share the URL, here is a screenshot of the preview.
How to solve the issue? Once solved the issue, I can proceed to create other pages like Privacy Policy…
Thanks
