look smartlist-2

Hi,
The theme is set to ignore the sticky post feature, you can enable them if you set this parameter to 0, like this: http://screencast.com/t/q3gRalRtl1n
Please note that if you enable/use the sticky posts this could cause issues with the theme as it hasn’t been designed to work with sticky posts.
Please provide more info about what you want to achieve so we can search for a solution for this.
Hope this helps!
Thanks

Yes, we switched Ga-ga.com to Newsmag … and still playing with it in my “spare time” … I have not fully optimized the new theme/site combo, so the old scores and such are not yet “up to speed” as it were.
For the site, we found that it worked a little better to have more of a “magazine” style layout (borders) than the newspaper layout, partly because we have some long form book serials/fiction, and .. well, anyway, YES… Ga-Ga.com is now running on NEWSMAG from the savvy folk at TagDiv. So, Newsmag was the right choice for this particular site, hence the switcheroo.
I have not yet
1) optimized the gravatar local caching
2) optimized fonts
3) minified the main CSS file manually
4) finished the home page; and menus.
5) fixed the logos, as I’m playing with changing logo design since it’s not technically a “done” website; the content there now is “mostly” stuff we’re rescuing from some older sites which are being retired and we’re keeping the good stuff for the new site, which will launch Jan.2015.
6) various other minor tweaks
Work in progress as of 12/12/14. 🙂

Hi,
Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have rtl support and recently we have decided that we will not include rtl support within the theme so you will have to customize it yourself or get someone to helps you with it if you want it to support rtl.
Regarding woocommerce we will implement support fr it within next version as for bbprees next to come.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Thanks for the message and for understanding!
I hope this theme support RTL < bbPress < woo sooon !!!
Hi,
Sorry for the delay! Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have rtl support and you will have to customize it yourself and get someone to helps you with it if you don’t know how to do it yourself.
You can also search the forum for suggestion and fixes for the issue you may encounter with this.

Thanks again. It kinda works, but only on posts pages, not also on categories pages / homepage – look here… https://horoscopia.ro/horoscop-berbec-tendinte-generale-2014/
However, the desired result was to show the categories expanded when the post was from that category. For example the post above was is from Horoscop 2014, that has 12 subcategories. Your code only shows the main categories everywhere, although the subcategories IDs were mentioned in the code.
Not to mention that although it wasn’t mentioned with its ID, the ”Featured” category is shown by default, which is also an undesireded result.
At the end of the day I’m going to revert all the changes to the files, and delete the categories widget. I hope you’ll consider implementing in a future update of the theme this funtionality by default in the theme. After all, your theme is targeted to heavy-content based sites, and the ability to show smartly the categories in the default wordpress categories widget is a must in my opinion.
Thank you for all the explanations, but I’m not very happy that after all these changes I ended up deleting that widget. Again, please strongly consider making this a default behaviour in your theme in a future update.
Hi,
First you should localize your WordPress: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_in_Your_Language
Install WordPress in your language then automatically the theme will use the rtl.
Search the forum for suggestion and fixes for the issue you may encounter with this and you should also consider that unfortunately we recently have decided that starting with the next theme update we will not include rtl support within the theme. You can still use the theme as it id but unfortunately you cannot updated it as you will lose the rtl support.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Thanks for the message and for understanding!
please tell me step by step method to activate rtl in my theme?
Hi,
Unfortunately the newsmag theme doesn’t have rtl support so you will need to customize it yourself if you need it.
If you just need the header menu aligned to the right side of the screens please send your site’s URL as I need to inspect this so I can provide an accurate solution for this.
Thanks

FYI
HTTP Error 413 Request entity too large
The Web server (running the Web site) thinks that the HTTP data stream sent by the client (e.g. your Web browser) was simply too large i.e. too many bytes. What constitutes ‘too many bytes’ depends partly upon the operation being attempted. For example a request to upload a very large file (via the HTTP PUT method) may encounter a ceiling on upload file size set by the Web server.
Dear All,
If possible I need step by step guide to modify my Newspaper theme to support Arabic and RTL. I don’t know where to start.
Regards,
Tamer
Hi,
This issues with styles is due to theme’s rtl style sheet, as the themes original style sheet, when using the plugin, gets moved to the footer and because of the cascading property of the css the rtl css gets overwritten by the initial style.
Until we can provide a fix for this you could try not to move the theme style to the footer, like this: http://screencast.com/t/VShNyJkRQrf avoiding the styles issues and still use the plugin for js files an other css files.
Hope this helps!
Thanks

Hi,
I can’t access your site: http://screencast.com/t/TUmXP6Yzzzz so I can’t help you unless I can check and inspect the 2. Sliders on Firefox/ 3. Slider Titles/ 4. Social Icon covers the post issues.
Please let me know to check this when the site it’s running again.
Regarding the first issue you have with the custom fonts please note that we also know about this do have some issues with this. For a fix you would need to send us an email and request for a fix in this case. You can address us on email at contact@tagdiv.com
1. I need to see this so I can provide a better answer but yes you could write a better css selector and apply your style just to the bottom of the posts or if you want to remove the author box you can do it from theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/Rflo6pT3
2. Via custom css, like this: http://screencast.com/t/KEsLinjDvk
.td-big-grid-post {
float: right;
}
.td_block_big_grid .td-big-grid-post-0 {
border-left: 3px solid #ffffff;
border-right: 0px solid #ffffff;
}
3. Also via css, you could try something like this:
.td_mod_mega_menu .item-details {
float: right;
}
.td_mod_mega_menu .item-details .entry-title a {
direction: rtl;
}
4. From theme panel > theme colors: http://screencast.com/t/SJaMRIDpb
5. Use this custom css: http://screencast.com/t/61MBHpfBsMj
.sf-menu li a:hover, .sf-menu .sfHover a, .sf-menu .current-menu-ancestor a, .sf-menu .current-category-ancestor a, .sf-menu > .current-menu-item > a {
border-color: #4db2ec;
}
To remove the shadow use this css:
.td-full-layout .td-menu-background:after, .td-boxed-layout .td-menu-wrap:after {
display: none;
}
Thanks
