individual post sharing is not working for any post template including new cloud template
Hello,
Could you help me with a snippet or the file to edit in order to be able to add a “Feedly” button next to the sharing buttons the theme comes with?
In other words, we have very nice Facebook, Twitter etc buttons provided by the theme. I’d like to add a Feedly button generated via https://feedly.com/factory.html but not sure where to add it.
Also title text is not complete, title text is missing while sharing. Please have a look and help.
I just tried to shared my post on mobile by clicking on whatsapp icon, and it only shares the title text, not the link of the post.
Please take a look at my post:
https://passivegrow.com/5-best-wordpress-multipurpose-themes-2018-mobile-seo-friendly/
And try to share it with whatsapp on mobile, and it’s only sending post headline without post link.
Dear sir. I am facing a problem. First i have created a post sample using cloud library single post format. Then i applied that post sample for all post through Theme panel. Upto these, everything is ok and working fine. But i see a problem when i go for sharing any content, it shows only one link for all content and that is the post sample link i have created earlier. Please see https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FjmGP0snbvxjrRXzhGZt5WTT6l_VPLUG/view?usp=drivesdk. I think now you will understand the problem. Can you please help in this matter?

Hi,
The new post templates will not affect the permalinks. Try re-saving them in WordPress settings. Simply import a new post template and modify it if you wish or save it as it is. Then apply it for the posts you want. The sharing should not be affected.
Please correct me if I misunderstand, also provide some more details about what exactly is happening.
Thanks
Hello sir. I have updated the theme and used one of the best single post structure from cloud library. Everything is ok and amazing. But when I have published a new content and went for social sharing, it gives wrong link structure. It shows the same structure for all content which is that one when i created a single post name after importing from cloud.
Hello mecanicaonline,
You should not use any such a plugin for Print because the theme has included by default this functionality for Social Sharing buttons like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5ci74oRcrDW
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
@jbclot There is a social icons element that can be placed anywhere in pages
– https://www.screencast.com/t/a5q9tqupo
But an actual page sharing option is not available.
Thanks
Hi,
If you are referring to the Facebook like button displayed in the post pages, it is the this button
– https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-button
It will count likes received on the post page, and it should also take into account likes received after sharing the post on Facebook. That would be all it can do.
Please correct me if I misunderstand what you are asking.
Thanks
Hi,
This – http://take.ms/W65dt can be deactivated in the theme panel, post sharing settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/i3CplSUC9
This – http://take.ms/igO42 is not part of the theme. From what I can see it may be added by the super socializer plugin you have installed. Please check it’s settings.
Thanks
Here’s the instructions from Facebook, but I have no idea where in the theme to input it. Please help!
Add an og:url tag to the new URL which points at the old URL (Preferred)
In your new URL, you should include a link to the old URL. For example, if your new URL was https://example.com/new-url, and the old URL was https://example.com/old-url, you should include this snippet in the new-url:
<meta property=”og:url” content=”https://example.com/old-url” />
Using this method tells the crawler that the canonical URL is at the old location, and it will use that to generate the number of likes and shares on the page. Any new likes and shares will continue to aggregate on the old URL as well.
This also requires that the old URL still renders a document with Open Graph tags and returns a HTTP 200 response, at least when loaded by Facebook’s crawler. If you want other clients to redirect when they visit the URL, you must send your 301 HTTP response to all non-Facebook crawler clients. The old URL should contain its own og:url tag that points to itself.
You can learn how to recognize Facebook’s crawler in our Sharing Best Practices Guide.
This method will work with rel=canonical as well, but og:url is preferred.
Redirect Facebook’s crawler to the old URL
Another method to accomplish this is to redirect Facebook’s crawler to the old URL any time it visits the new URL. As with the method described above, the old URL must be a valid document with Open Graph headers. And if you want to include a redirect at the old URL, Facebook’s crawler must not redirect when it visits the old URL.
Hello fgter,
All the available settings for Icons Sharing can be found here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/b3ZqDb43q Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
Please check these forum topics:

Thanks.
Hi,
That would be the same situation form this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/bug-pinterest-share-icon-overridden-by-pinterest-embed-code-in-sidebar/
The script you are loading will affect the sharing button as well. There would be nothing to do in this case. Maybe you can find a different implementation for the pin button.
Thanks
Hello, how are you. I have a question for you guys:
Since I installed Pinterest button on image hover (<script async defer data-pin-hover=”true” src=”//assets.pinterest.com/js/pinit.js”></script>), the Pinterest Social Sharing Button of my posts changed a little bit (http://www.screencast.com/t/cmhajwXfmhI).
Here’s an example: http://www.topensandoemviajar.com/2018/01/22/safari-no-kruger-park-dicas-economizar/
Is there a way to keep the style of the buttons as the other sharing buttons and still keep the pin it button on image hover?!
thanks a lot for your help!
Hi,
Try plugins, since there is no amazon registration in the theme that would be the first thing you can try.
Reddit is already part of the theme post sharing socials
– https://www.screencast.com/t/lrzgObbyc5O
But if you want you can use sharing plugins, there are many you could try.
Thanks
in my post end there is a share buttons in addition to the Standerd post theme sharing buttons. how do I fix this
Hi,
That is not how they are supposed to look, please check this demo post bottom sharing
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/wordpress-news-magazine-charts-the-most-fashionable-new-york-couples-in-2016/
Try changing the style in the theme panel, check if it displays properly, then switch it back again. Let us know.
Thanks
Hi Simon,
As mentioned earlier that issue is not with the featured image but with the any subsequent image you add inside post using “Add Media” option.
The default size system selects is 300X205 and when i expand this image it get’s blurred. I tried changing the size to full size using the edit section and after that it works perfectly.
Now, my most important question is how to change the default image settings so that it automatically picks the full size image.
Sharing one screen shot as well for better clarity.

Hello
@pacoesni, I have inspected your website and I saw that you are not using our social counter functionality because the sharing buttons do not come from our theme and it seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/PtBZtzBFad
@soundstrat, I saw that your theme has fully minified and that’s why might appear some errors. I suggest you make a new clean install to another sub-domain for testing, clear all of the untested plugins and check the results.
Thanks.
