</script>Here is an example of responsive link ads, but they are being parsed as display ads its violating google adsense terms, its better to have an option to omit auto parsing of google ads
When adding a youtube featured video post (Post type 11) its unable to pre define a featured image its is being automatically downloaded how to skip it ? the default images with videos are not so good, that is why its better to use different featured images for video posts
Even if a featured image is set on publishing it is being automatically changed, the post have to be re edited to set the custom featured image

Unfortunately the theme has no option for sticky social icons. There is a smart sidebar though. If you add a tagdiv social counter widget to it, then it will be sticky https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/. If this does not help you then the you can maybe find a plugin for social sharing. There are a bunch of social plugins out there. I believe they are among the most popular ones.

Hi, I just purchased the theme and was looking at it on my CELLPHONE (not in Dev. Tools…) and noticed that the mobile view is not working correctly. Instead of WordPress transforming the code for my sections into the sections, it leaves them as raw code.

While looking at the site in Dev mode on the computer, it looks PERFECT. But when I go to the site on my cell phone (Samsung S5 using Chrome), it only has the coding. I’ve saved an image in Google Drive to show you what I mean.

Unfortunately I can’t make any recommendation in this regard as we didn’t tested any of those plugins with a similar functionality but you can try a few of them and use the on which suits you best. Theme is responsive, WP-Touch can cause issues with sites which are already responsive and mobile ready.
Also try disabling the loading of visual composer on all pages/posts except for home page — this is also covered in my long-winded optimization post in the tutororials/DIY/best of forum section.
Ad Rotate Pro *not* an issue. We use it here and have for years.
Newspaper adds share buttons top/bottom of each post – from post settings; but not ALL sharing buttons, just the main popular ones. I use a plugin that is super lightweight “simple sharing buttons” but doesn’t do the “numbers” just the buttons. That is usually not the issue.
Jetpack can slow down site as you’re loading all those elements externally and adding to overhead.
To be honest, I suspect it’s the WP-Touch and possibly your server is setup like ours was, where traffic spikes would kill the site — in our case it was the related posts, mega-menu, and loading visual composer. Disabling those solved it for us.
Error parsing input URL, no data was cached, or no data was scraped.
I tried to share first it didn’t work… I created a new post and It didn’t worked too..

The theme’s social share buttons weren’t designed to work on pages, only on posts. To achieve that you will need some custom modifications in theme’s files and unfortunately I can’t provide a solution now. You can try a share plugin with a similar functionality. The page count actually counts how many times the page is loaded/viewed and not tied to FB in any way. Page views are written to custom field per post (look at the extra fields in your post view). So, you can update theme without losing the post views per post.
Note that FB has been changing how they show stuff to people, so somebody liking or sharing doesn’t always translate into any specific number of views from FB — theme doesn’t control whether people CLICK THROUGH from a share on FB to your site/pages.
For advanced users, you can start using a shortcode with tracking where you use shortcode for social and then track that by number of times shortcode is clicked through. But that is likely outside the scope of what you want to do here.

You can remove the twitter option from the like/tweet part by using css.
In order to remove the g+ and pinterest you can use the same css method. This code will remove all 3 buttons:
.td-social-pinterest,.td-social-google,.td-classic-twitter{
display:none!important;
}
Unfortunately the tweet counter cannot be added so easily so we recommend using a sharing plugin for it.

Hi, My post views has 10 but my facebook sharing has 22. may i know what causes this?
When I enable both the “Article sharing” and “Article like/tweet”…what is the difference between the two tweet buttons…don’t they do the same thing?
Also, is there any sort of counter functionality in the share buttons on the posts to show how many times the post has been shared or tweeted? If not, is there a way to implement that or is that why you added the extra “like/tweet” buttons? How do I remove the extra tweet button in the like/tweet options?
And one other things, if I want to remove the google+ and pinterest buttons how do I do that?

note that FB does *NOT* always capture all the data properly when sharing, either via a button or manually posting into your stream/page — more common in mornings, or when busy. Generally the only thing you can is to ensure proper OG tags, and if sharing doesn’t work – share it, then click the ‘time since posted’ text link at top of post on FB for the item shared, then click right side triangle in post box to “refresh share attachment.”
We deal with this on daily basis going on about three years now.
FB simply doesn’t always capture stuff. Not theme, site, photo, or weather related. Their systems are processing billions of images each day, and not always works.

Although there might be a misunderstanding. The problem we are facing has not only to do with the sharing buttons. The thing is, when we also tried to copy and paste article’s link (e.g: http://www.artharbour.gr/eikastika/armeniki-vizita/ ) and share it on our facebook page (or one’s profile page) the problem remains.
For some other articles the sharing is made correctly. For example our new editorial (http://www.artharbour.gr/editorial/fevrouarios-2016/) is shared properly just by coping – pasting the main url/ or via the sharing button.

In the live preview the social sharing buttons pull an image and a description from each shared page. Where do you set that information?
Is there a way to set meta property=”og:image” and meta property=”og:description” with this template?

I have purchased Newsmag theme on my site (www.artharbour.gr) and a long time now I have a specific problem when sharing a post on facebook.
Neither the prime image nor article’s title is shown when sharing. The only thing shown is the url of my site (www.artharbour.gr). Let’s try this post for example http://www.artharbour.gr/eikastika/armeniki-vizita/ .
The problem it is not only in my shares but everybody’s. Sometimes in the past, after the latest updates the problem was solved. However, it’s been more than a month now that the problem persists, although I have completed all the updates. I would like a solution please..

Thanks for the replies. I am on SiteGround’s “Go Geek” shared hosting plan (https://www.siteground.com/web-hosting.htm). I don’t have much stats on the server, but it’s the best that I can afford. I’m thinking of switching to Amazon AWS but would like to make sure I’ve exhausted all other options.
I have followed many optimization guides that I’ve found online as well as TagDiv’s own guides. The only thing that I haven’t done is use WP Supercache, I was using a different one. I’ve also recently signed up for MaxCDN, but that didn’t help with the resource issues either. I just now implemented Disqus as I’ve read that can help too. Oh, and I wasn’t able to use pagespeed as my sharing plugin isn’t compatible, I can disable that plugin for testing purposes.
I get anywhere from 150-300k visitors a month depending on the strength of the box office. Most come from Google searches. SiteGround says that it’s not a visitor issue for the resources though.
But really, for the most part, my site is optimized. Yet SiteGround says that it was using three times more resources on the Newspaper theme than the basic one it’s running now.
I’d like to go back to Newspaper, but doubt that WP Supercache, Disqus and pagespeed will make that much difference, will it???
hi, how can I add whatsapp sharing button at the top of my post. I noticed the theme panel that the theme only has facebook and twitter sharing function. Is there any i can add up whatsapp sharing button too?

You can hide the author name from a post or from our modules and blocks, but the theme does not control the meta data for sharing. Facebook will grab all the information from your post.
