When will the visual composer plugin be updated with the app?

Hello,

I am getting the following error when trying to login the admin for my website and when trying to view the website without logging in. This was a result of recently performing an update. I look in the forums for a solution but could not find one. Please help, site is down and inaccessible.

I just updated from Newspaper 6 to Newspaper 7 via wordpress. I deleted the old and installed the new (and yes, I installed the correct .zip).

After install and activation, something seems broken. I am receiving this error:

“Call to undefined function vc_shortcode_custom_css_has_property() in /home/sailing8/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/vc_templates/vc_row.php on line 53”

I don’t know what I’m looking for on line 53…

I updated all the plugins, and still the same result. Then I updated to 4.7, and still the same result.

I’ve been using Newspaper theme for over a year now. Recently I updated it 7.5 using the Envato toolkit plugin. And today I found that in the system status it’s showing Your theme is not registered. Can anyone help?

First of all, Really love your theme.

We run a news website which has a dedicated server with a dedicated MySQL Server.

We have been working on customizing it for atleast 2 months.

We had launched the website, but there were some serious issues with the implementation of the theme.

1. We have news sharing through RSS Feeds and our 3rd party subscribers who are paid were unable to receive any updates from us after the activation of the theme.

2. We have inArticle ads which come in from a video ad network, the code was well implemented but that also stopped displaying.

We had the theme activated for 2 days and in those 2 days we had seen the worst revenue generation in months.

I was wondering if you had any insights on this.

On WordPress dashboard. I update header/footer successfully. But when I open the site, No changes are shown.

I am doing some testing for an up and coming migration of my site to a new host. Have found that the Duplicator plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/) seems to be working really well.

I do understand if this is not something you have anything to do with but I thought the question might be somwhat theme-related anyway, since it is about how the image-links get treated after the migration.

A lot of pictures within the theme uses the srcset-tag do display a smaller version of a certain picture. The srcset-links does get updated to the new address after the move. However they get updated in the wrong way.

Some images display correctly (that aren´t using the srcset-code). The actual image-link (src) is correct on both the images that uses the srcset and the ones that doesn´t. The path to the actual picture the looks like this:
src="http://localhost/test/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/picture.jpg

The srcset pictures also (as stated) have the correct src-path, but the srcset-path (that actually displays the image) gets this path after the migration:
srcset="http://localhost/test/C:/xampp/htdocs/test/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/picture.jpg

They get the “C:/xampp/htdocs/test” added into the path, and that makes them not visible at all.

Is there some kind of reset setting in the theme-settings to change this or delete the “C:/xampp/htdocs/test” before every picture?

Is it possible to change the name of a custom sidebar…without losing all the pages on the site where you’ve used that sidebar

I have created several custom sidebars. I would like to keep the custom sidebars as they are…however, I would like to change their names.

We have lots of different pages on the site….I don’t want to delete outdated sidebars in the event that I forget to update a page.

I attempted to update Visual Composer to the latest version 5.0 and noticed your last Newspaper update Version 7.5 was dated 01/11/16 with js_composer.zip ver 4.12.1.

When do you intend to update and release the Newspaper theme with the latest Visual Composer, as my current build has issues with visual composers carousel.
