As you can see on our update log we have added the alt tag for these images – http://screencast.com/t/nvsPcv2l but the alt tag is empty because is not recommended by seo to have a different alt for the same image. You can modify it if you want different thing like above.

The footer logo was not added, you have right, seems that the developers missed that. I have tagged it for urgent fix on our list.

As i understand it, you want to add another menu, a third one, on the same row as the top menu.
If this is the case, then it is not at all easy to do. At the moment there are just 2 menus in the header: the top menu and the main menu. You will need to hire a developer to pull it off and we cannot offer custom work at the moment as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support, but you can hire a freelancer from sites like http://studio.envato.com/

We recommend to use SEO by Yoast plugin for the og: as the theme doesn’t control that. Please check this without any plugins active, except of the Visual Composer plugin and SEO by Yoast, clear cache and check if the share works fine. Also you can test using fb debugger(manually fetch new scrap info.) and see if the featured image is correct for one of your posts. Check also the page source if your open graph meta date are correct – http://screencast.com/t/uhrSwqinmvzv It may take a while until fb will update open graphs.

Unfortunately also the Woocommerce plugin had some big updates so it could cause some issues if you use version 4 of the theme as it wasn’t tested. Normally it shouldn’t affect any of your settings/posts/categories/plugins. There are plugin updates in our new versions of the theme like rev slider 5 and new version of visual composer (plugins that come with the theme).
There is nothing to worry about. Just make sure to do a backup and then follow our update guide and things will be unchanged.

The theme was designed to add only one article inline ad in post content using the spot from theme panel. To add multiple ads after a specific number of paragraphs, it’s need additional customization for the ads system. Those customizations involve custom work and unfortunately we cannot offer it for the moment as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support. If you need this my advice is to look for a freelancer from sites like: http://studio.envato.com/ if you don’t know how to do it yourself.

The version of visual composer included with theme is a bundled version, it does not with separate license key. It will be updated with next version of theme once tested as compatible. You can also see more info in the theme docs.

Hello, i’m trying to update WPBakery Visual Composer plugin but my Visual Composer License Key is not valid. This theme has only been installed and used on 1 site. What do I do?

I have an earlier request that has to do with the background image.
Current we have the option to set GLOBLA bakcground image and I think a link
OR
You can set background image per category.
Is it possible for you to add the option to select
1. Background IMAGE & URL Global and ability to set background image & URL per category
2. Use custom code (like advert tags) and ability to set this GLOBAL and also per category
I am willing to pay for this additional option and you can make this available to all in an update as the current background image displays perfect, it displays the theme boxed as well and our advert tags does exactly the same when there is adverts set to display. Also if we can set it to collapse if no adverts displayed so not display boxed that would be awesome.
For this to work I would imagine a select option ENABLE CUSTOM CODE AS BACKGROUND and then a CUSTOM CODE field both of these per category and in global option.

One more. Specifically, if we added the demo content and then added our own content, will the theme update erase all our settings? I have version 6 of Newspaper and two updates have come out (I believe). I’m planning on doing a backup first and then updating the theme. My questions:
1. If I made theme panel changes will the update modify them?
2. Is there a chance that the plugins I have will need to be re-installed or will they stay on the site?
3. Will post categories stay in place?
4. Anything else to be aware of before I do the theme update?

2.I would want to highlight the heading in the slider similar to addictecd2success.com
3.Is there way to get more loading icon in the unlimited scroll page without updating the latest version, i believe the latest update have addressed it.
4.Few images and video gets a grey tint and black strip at the top & bottom of the slider image, attached the screen prints for your reference Bog..

Hi, Since last update, post style1 template does not work. Before image was on the left and text started on the right of the image now text content goes after image, eve if the image it’s cropped as usual.
Another thing, for this template, how can i align image on the right instead of left (when it will work again :-)?

Problema persista de o luna si ceva timp in care am pierdut o groaza de bani pe unul din site-uri. Folosesc Adblock pe chrome si nu mi-am dat seama ca ar fi probleme. Initial, cand am vazut scaderi de venituri in panoul de adminstrare Adsense, am crezut ca este o problema cu CPC si ca va trece + ca am avut o perioada foarte aglomerata si l-am lasat pentru mai tarziu. Tocmai aseara am realizat ca la doua site-uri la care folosesc Newspaper nu imi afiseaza anumite reclame Adsense.
Am problema la site-urile:
1. http://www.sfaturiutile.net
http://www.sfaturiutile.net/sfaturi-pentru-un-somn-odihnitor/ + toate paginile (fara home).
Nu afiseaza reclama din sitebar 300×600.
2. http://www.muzica-populara.com – Nu afiseaza in pagini si nici in postari reclamele din sitebar
Nu imi apare “Custom ad 1” plasat la sfarsitul fiecarei pagini/postare.
exemplu – http://www.muzica-populara.com/cantece-patriotice/ – am un “Custom ad 1” in “Ad box” la sfarsitul articolului si nu apare

Aceleasi probleme le-am avut si pe versiunea 4 ceea ce m-a dus cu gandul ca poate trebuie sa fac update la versiunea 6.5, ceea ce am facut ieri, insa am intampinat aceleasi probleme. Fapt pentru care am anulat modificarea setarilor pentru moment si m-am focusat pe afisarea anunturilor insa am realizat ca nu se poate face nimic.
* Pe sfaturiutile.net am versiunea 6.2 Newspaper
* Am verificat atat pe mai multe browsere (pe chrome am dezactivat toate extensiile, inclusiv AdBlock), pe site-uri precum http://quirktools.com/screenfly unde poti vedea la diferite dimensiuni si pe pc-urile prietenilor si pe alte smartphone-uri
* Tin dezactivate anunturile din sitebar si din footer la “TABLET PORTRAIT” si pe telefoane, le-am dezactivat si activat si in nici o varianta nu apar anunturile.
* Am testat tot felul de dimensiuni si nu apar.
* Am facut update-urile pluginurilor Visual Composer and Social Counter
* Am facut update-ul temei via WordPress pentru ca este cam singura varianta la hostingul pe care il am de la Godaddy.
* Problemele sunt atat pe fosta versiune 4 cat si pe cele noi 6.2 si 6.5
Ce este de facut? Din ce cauza nu apar?
Inca ceva. De ce ati eliminat iconitele care putea fii adaugate in meniu? Cel putin casuta de la home era mult mai buna decat “Acasa”/”Home”.

I think it’d be fairly easy for you to add the missing values since most other blocks do have them (eg. the post blocks).

Please note that the old customization to the theme file and css code or child theme(you will have to update als the child theme) will not work, you will have to adjust them for the new version as the code was rewritten for Newspaper 6, practically it is a new theme.
