i have the same issue, i add the whatsapp button to share an article but is not there, i add other social networks and remove and they work perfect but not with whatsapp
still the same, only can work on the main page.

1. Newspaper > Theme Panel > Custom Code > {add script html}
2. Add html scripts on wp-content/themes/newspaper/footer.php and wp-content/themes/newspaper/mobile/footer.php
3. Add html script with visual composer.
I used this method successfully, but only on the front page.
how can the script that I use be used on every page, post page ?
Are you looking at in mobile? The Whatsapp icon doesn’t appear on desktop – it’s a ‘mobile only’ product

Some socials will not show on desktop, only on mobile. They will open the mobile app and the post can then be shared.
That is the case with WhatsApp, Viber and Line. Check with a mobile or mobile emulator and it should be there.

For any post on my website, when sharing it with a mobile device, only the title of the article is shared. As such, there is no link included in the message sent. How can this be solved?

FYI, I just made some changes to the social sharing icons choices (removed Google+, added email sharing icon, stumblupon, etc…and now I can’t get the whatsapp icon visible. (http://www.HowNotToSail.com)
I have an issue with the logo of my website in large screens (desktop). I followed the rules for logo sizes according to documentation but it still looks small.

Those do not work, they work for all other socials except whatsapp for some reason. So if you remove the “&” from the post title it works?
The URL meta is present in the page source and the link seems to try and share the title and link from what I can see, but it stops at the “&”

I managed to recreate this on my end however. It is the same in my case. I will add this on our list and it will be investigated. We will try to fix it as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I am using Newsmag on my website The problem is with Whatsapp social sharing button. When I click on Whatsapp Icon under post title to share the post, Whatsapp open to select contact. After selecting the contact, Whatsapp message box is pre-filled with only post title when it should have a link to the post. Only post title is being sent to the contact without hyperlink to the post.

Regarding to this post, i decide to make a new one.
I am currently facing a problem with facebook likes.
The likes counter is working on PC, but it is not working on mobile devices (i’m using the responsive one, not the mobile theme)
And, for more information, (on PC) the likes counter work instantly.
But, when i try to push the likes fb button on mobile devices, it went to facebook’s link for a while (around 0,5-2 seconds depend on the internet speed) like this –> https://www.screencast.com/t/jGahZnMdfX
and then back to the article like nothing happen.

FYI, the WhatsApp share icons is back. I disabled other social sharing plugins and enabled only the default plugin from the theme.
But still, when I try to share a link from the website on WhatsApp, the featured image thumbnail does not appear
Please help to resolve this issue.
