Hi Bettina. Still no response. This was sent at the top of the thread and again several days ago. Two current issues:
1. Signin link is timing out when users submit credentials. Contributors can only log in via the admin link.
2. I want to specify where auto-ads appear in posts. I’d like to do this once at the template level, not every time a new post is published. How is the location specified for auto ads via the TagDiv template?
Hi Bettina,
It looks like I modified either the template or the header, but I’m not sure how I did that, and I can’t see where to resolve it.
There is a space at the bottom of the header with an image of a mountain. I would like to remove that space. Incidentally, it is only affecting the desktop view (not mobile) which leads me to believe it is a template.
Thank you!

Hello Ken!
Edit the page with the TagDiv Composer and delete the element that has that image. There is actually a recycle bin basket for every element: https://www.screencast.com/t/wFYdqgpo6pT
Thank you!
Seems that none of the pieces in the header that need to be deleted have a trash/recycle icon. The background image that’s there is unselectable. We have tried to go in through a regular page to edit and we have tried to “load” the header. However, if / when we “load” the wrong header (there are three in the list now) we’ll end up applying that header to the entire site. But in both places, no icons, and the image is not selectable. Here are 2 recordings showing the issues we’re experiencing:

Hello Ken!
1. You can drag and drop the whole row at the bottom of the page. Check out this video: https://www.screencast.com/t/pxuOzYIIpcG.
It seems that the page content has been added in the Gutenberg editor; that’s why you cannot edit it in the tagdiv composer. You should add the content in the tagdiv composer by using the element “text with title” or “column text.”.
2. The page templates can’t be global on each page, and it is not working as a single template, for example. This is because maybe you want to have different elements on the pages of your site. If you need the same design, then you can copy-paste the element on the other open page with the TagDiv Composer. Right-click on the element, then copy and paste it after another element from another page. Right-click on the element, then paste after or before it.
This issue seems to be the same as at point 1: content should be added with the help of the tagdiv Composer elements, deleted from Gutenberg, and also deleted from the row as I described above.
You can have different headers and footers for your pages by selecting the header and footer you want from the Website Manager: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-website-manager/.
Do not edit the header because it will change on every page of your website.
A row can be added with a drag-and-drop after another row, and it should display a green color.
Please note that you can’t customize the other elements other than the ones added with the TagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Thanks, Bettina.
Here’s another problem. Not sure if this wasn’t added with TagDiv Composer or not.
I am trying to remove a large space at the top of a three pages (mobile view):
– https://libertylens.news/donors/
Also, for the header on these pages, I’d like to omit the category menu below the main header. Can you help me with this one?
Thank you,
Ken
How do I apply a different header as an exception to a given page.
Thanks,
Ken
I am now seeing a residual artifact of the category menu when I scroll back up – even though that element was deleted from this header.
I’m also not able to add the ‘column text’ element or a container to “Header Template – Default Pro”. I’m trying to add a leaderboard ad space into the header under the logo.
Is there a recommended browser that you advise people to edit in? (We are Mac users.)
Thanks,
Ken
Hi Bettina,
1. I want to remove the large space that is found on the top of the mobile site.
2. I want to insert a space in the header where a leaderboard ad can be inserted.
Does that help?
Thanks,
Ken
Hello Ken!
Removing and adding some spaces can be done when you edit the page with the TagDiv Composer. Every element has a CSS tab where you can add margins and paddings. Or you can use the element called “Empty space”. If the pages are default, you should use some CSS code.
I hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hi Bettina,
Can you send me a video recording of what you mean? I am trying to do that, but it does seem to provided the intended result. I have not been able to add the column / row for the ad, and I also haven’t been able to delete the large empty space on the mobile at the top of the pages below (they use a different header).

Hi Bettina,
We have tried what you suggested, but still can’t get the results we’re looking for. Also, here is a recording of a couple things we tried to do to do so you can see what we might be doing wrong (For some reason there’s an echo in the audio): https://app.screencast.com/mTcoTByKsJYyr?conversation=VCRnGt2RxmET4ou1yXzLBO .
Hi Bettina,
We are trying to do that, but it is not working for us as you describe. Here is a recording of how we’re trying to make it work (there is a strange echo in the recording). Maybe it will help to figure out why
Also, here is a screenshot of the blank space that shows up on the mobile. https://app.screencast.com/tIGKlaXVh9YPB . For some reason this blank space does not appear at the top of the mobile home page, but it does appear on others.
Thanks,
Ken
Hello Ken!
Try to delete the empty columns. You could try to delete it like this: select the row, press the button delete from your keyboard, then with your mouse select “YES”.
Also you have another option too, check this: https://www.screencast.com/t/pxuOzYIIpcG
That space can be only from the header from what I see.
If you can’t handle it, then I can try to help you. Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Thank you!
Hi Bettina,
From your note via email reply regarding the space at the top:
“The content of the pages should be added in the Tagdiv Composer with the column text or text with title elements: https://app.screencast.com/Z7Y7×VYn1Y6Ma
The space there is because you need to have a row of content, which in your case was empty. You should use it for your content, and you can’t delete it because the page has been done with the TagDiv Composer.”
Here’s a recording of how I tried to follow your instructions. I’m still missing something:

Thanks for your patience!
Ken
Hi,
You need to select this row -> https://i.imgur.com/5touFkt.png to be in the content section and add this element from tagdiv Composer to be able to add the text -> please check this video https://we.tl/t-b8B9UrlZm3 but you need to have two tabs, one with the page using tagdiv Composer, and one in the other tab to have the page in Gutenberg editor, and copy from there the text to add in the column text and after deleting the text from Gutenberg editor.
Thank you!
Hi Bettina,
Here’s a video of our attempt to do what you advised (we’re still having trouble). https://psu.mediaspace.kaltura.com/media/Ken+Layng%27s+Personal+Meeting+Room/1_bwndx2y3
