All Widgets and Sidebars lost after updating

First of all: HI – I´m new here 😉
I made a update from the 6 to the newest version from Newspaper today.

After updating the exicsting files, ALL Widgets (own created Sidebars) are AWAY…

I was lucky that I made a backup of the old /themes/Newspaper folder, so I deleted the updated one and put this old one up to the net.
Now I still have my SIDEBARS listet at the Widgets area, I also can choose them at the posts, but there is NO SIDEBAR anymore on the FRONTEND (only at the starting page).

So what can I do?

I am not sure why this happened but you can try to deactivate all plugins clear all caches then try to update the theme and Visual Composer again as it is indicated in our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
If you use child theme deactivate it during the update process.
