Hi. I had no issues trying this theme on another site.
But, I changed my mind and installed on a new site.
This time, I’m getting hung up on activating the AMP plugin.
I basically have had to remove the plugin via ftp to get back into my site.
My other theme plugins are installed. I am using a child theme plugin, but i have tried with and without it with the same results.
Meaning, I have tried the AMP activation with the main Newspaper theme active and I get the error.
There has been a critical error on this website.

Any ideas? Not sure if it’s the theme’s mobile plugin or not, still testing.
Thanks!

UPDATE: I was able to activate the AMP plugin with the mobile disabled.
BUT, I then re-activated the mobile plugin for the theme and that break the site now, too. Please help, I’m missing something. 🙂

Hello,
i have the same problem.
When I wanted to update to the new version of the AMP plugin, a technical error occurred and I no longer had access to my backend. In the support for the plugin it was announced that it was due to the mobile plugin from tagDiv. Therefore I have deactivated this. But what do I do now? My AMP page now looks very bad.
Can you somehow update the mobile plugin so that I can use AMP and the mobile plugin together again? That would be great and it would also be great if this would happen in a timely manner.
Thank you very much.
Greetings Sebastian
Hello,
I can exclude conflicts with other plugins, because this technical error happens only when the mobile plugin of tagDiv is activated. If it is disabled, there is no technical error.
I think the new update of AMP does not match with the current version of the mobile plugin of tagDiv. Something is not compatible there.
Have you tested this, so if the new version of AMP with the mobile plugin?
Hi,
here is the link: https://wordpress.org/plugins/amp/advanced/
You can find the previous versions at the bottom of the page. You can select the version in the drop down menu.
Hello!
1. Mobile – Displays content using the Mobile Theme on small screen devices (no AMP)
2. Mobile+Amp – Displays content using the Mobile Theme on both mobiles and AMP
3. AMP – Uses the responsive version of the theme on small screen devices and Mobile Theme only on AMP.
