Hello,
This morning I noticed that the authors’ information no longer appears in our posts/articles. I opened up a post and searched within the widgets for author box options. The old Author Box widgets seem to have been replaced with new author widgets. There seems to be no transition from the old author widgets to the new author widgets and all of the articles now no longer show authors. Is this an error in code that will be updated? I really don’t want to have to go through all of our published articles and replace the author boxes that were located above and below each article. Please advise. Thank you.

Hello,
I have this same issue, my author box is completely gone, I cannot edit the author, I can’t do it in quick edit, regular editing of post. The option is also not in Post Settings under Layout settings for Theme panel (Newspaper) it just is completely removed one day and the author is whoever logs in and makes the post. I need help having the option to change authors again. I’m not sure what happened?

If you use default templates and some settings disappear after the update, please activate the Standard Pack plugin from Newspaper -> Plugins.
If you use cloud templates, then you should add the elements to the page with the help of the tagdiv Composer plugin.
We recommend using cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer, which contains a lot of functions and features. Please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
