So I’m fairly new to WordPress and the theme I purchased seems rather intuitive, and easy to navigate. However, the only section I cannot seem to modify is the World News, politics from around the globe headline. Please help!

Hi,
The logo headline can be changed as you like, in the Theme panel->Header section

A text logo or an image can be used for Header styles 9, 10 and 11. Other styles use only images for the logo. More information here
