Long time user of Newspaper theme. I just purchased another license to use it on another domain. When I paste the activation code, it does not accept it (the green ‘activate’ button does nothing when clicked.) I’ve ensured that there are no spaces or characters other than the purchase code itself.

Usually when this problem appear is because something is blocking the theme request for the registration. Usually it is a security option from the host, it can be checked using the browser console.
Also, if you want we can investigate the problem too, for this you need to contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and include the wp-admin and the license key.

I was finally able to figure out which plugin was causing the issue. Revolution Slider. After disabling that, I was able to register. The same plugin also causes a similar issue when I click the “Edit in TagDiv Composer” button, the spinner comes up as if it’s loading the page, but it just continues spinning forever. Disabling Revolution Slider is the only way to edit pages now. Lastly, when I do edit a page and try using a “Column Text” element, I go to click the “Edit Content” button and I get the everlasting spinner again. This time, disabling Revolution Slider doesn’t seem to help.

You can see what problem is causing the everlasting spinner on column text by checking the browser console, usually it can be rocket loader from CDN or some permission code set in .htaccess -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/

Console does indicate that there is a problem loading the editor file
jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:2 GET https://staging.***.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/includes/wpeditor.php?wp_path=/home/lcmugs/public_html/staging/ 404 (Not Found)
The file does exist at that location. I’m not sure where to go from here.
