Hi,
That demo uses a flex big grid, flex grid 6 to be more exact. Only flex grids have settings to adjust the image size of the modules
– https://www.screencast.com/t/A0ItXN3K0ea
If you want to achieve the same result you could use the flex grid, just like in the demo.
For example copy the homepage code from the gossip demo in a test page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/0sz2Lw1jNvM
Then edit it with the composer, click on the flex grid at the top and see how it is made, what values are used.
We will try to add such designs from demos in the cloud library in the future.
Thanks
The flex grids were added in theme update 9.1 – https://www.screencast.com/t/sdIGSqr3m
Changelog can be seen here, at the bottom of the page
– https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609
If you use an older theme version than 9.1 the flex grids are not available in the tagDiv composer. Here is an update guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The suggestion I mentioned doesn’t require code modifications of any kind, that is the page content of that particular demo homepage. I have pasted the page content here for convenience
– https://pastebin.com/DRv6KAys
After you update, copy the code in a new page – https://www.screencast.com/t/4KXNmxUB
Then edit it with the tagDiv composer, that is the homepage from the gossip demo. You can then see how the top flex grid is customized. Most demos contain customized versions of default theme elements.
thank you.
i dont want to copy the entire page source code because it will mess up my current settings right? i mean other blocks and grids?
I am using newspaper 9
I have seen your instruction to update the theme. But do we have to do it throup envanto plugin only?
does the theme automatically come in themeforest download section?
You can download the theme from your themeforest account. The latest theme version will always be available for download. You can update through the Envato plugin as well if you want to, the method is described in the guide.
I provided the page content from the demo so you can use it as an example, not to use it all in your page. I meant that you simply check how the top flex grid was made, so you can recreate it on your website.
As I mentioned above simply using the same grid type as the demo is not enough to get the same result. The grid has additional customization, flex grids have many options

This is the code for the grid itself, not the whole page – https://pastebin.com/t6BfN1pG
I have separated it from the rest of the demo page content, use it as you wish.
thank you very much for your continued support
but i am not able to find version 9.1 in themeforest under my downloads
i prefer not to use a plugin if i can

please refer to the screenshot
The latest theme version (9.1) is available for download. Simply download it from your themeforest account
– https://envato.com/blog/install-themeforest-wordpress-theme/
You can download the full theme package or just the theme zip
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/
When the theme is updated by us it will be uploaded to themeforest and users can download it. Only the latest theme version can be downloaded.
You mentioned an automatic method to update the theme, that will be possible only with the Envato plugin, as mentioned in the update guide. The most recommended and reliable method to update is by FTP.
