I’m trying to modify a Category template but it shows the first column as full width no matter what I do.
Hello!
The settings 2/3 + 1/3 means how many columns the full width row has: https://www.screencast.com/t/0H861Lodri
If you do not mean this, please provide more information about your issue.
Thank you!
Right. I have it set to this but it shows the first column as full width with the second column underneath it. Please look at the screenshot link.
So I have the row set to 2/3 + 1/3:

But the 2/3 column takes up the full row pushing the widgets in the 1/3 column below it:

Or am I misunderstanding something?
Hello!
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Our team will take a look!
Thank you!
The plugin that is causing the issue is WPBakery Page Builder.
When the plugin is turned on, the first column shows full width – First screenshot here: https://imgur.com/a/x9GEhtB
When it is turned off, it shows correctly. – Second screenshot here: https://imgur.com/a/x9GEhtB

Hello @usacarry!
There is a conflict between TagDiv Composer and WP Bakery. So, I gladly recommend you to shift from WPBakery to Composer, because WPBakery is an old builder plugin. Please check our guide to know how to shift from WPBakery to Composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/6xLVMmlsY ; https://www.screencast.com/t/zWHrRmK1LQC ; https://www.screencast.com/t/vuFdT9Stx ; https://www.screencast.com/t/DWbSf3qj ; https://www.screencast.com/t/QuHyGccTK71v
We recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Thank you!
How can you say it is an old builder when it is still being developed and was updated yesterday? There’s no other way to fix this? I have a lot of pages using features that WP Bakery has that TagDiv doesn’t. If not it seems like finding another theme is a better option.
Hello @usacarry-2!
Yes, because we use it with our default templates and for the cloud ones we create the new builder.
If you really want to use the WP Bakery plugin, then please use default templates and not the cloud ones in order to avoid the conflict between our builder TgaDiv Composer and WP Bakery.
I can see that the plugin is now disabled. Please activate it, so I can take a look at the issue again and I hope I can help you.
Thank you!
