Hello! After updating to version 10.3.9 today, I’m getting the spinning wheel of death whenever I try to use the Composer. I’ve checked system requirements, plugin conflicts, and tried a bunch of different solutions I found in the forum but nothing works. Additionally, The main menu on the navbar no longer fully loads. We’re rolling out a new functionality to users tomorrow morning, so it would be great to get some help/guidance as soon as possible. Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure that you do not have any conflict plugins, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins (theme plugins), also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also we have a guide for how to investigate this problem and fix it -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/ make sure that you have this set https://i.imgur.com/rEp1xkT.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If the problem persists, make a full backup send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and include wp-admin, cPanel and the link of this thread. I will investigate the problem.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi — thanks for the reply. As I mentioned, I had already tested for plugin conflict, checked system requirements, and followed the instructions in the links you provided; none of that worked until later in the day when the Composer started working again, so I’m good there.
I am, however, still having an issue with the main menu on the navbar. I was using a Cloud Template and after the update all of the menu text turned white. We’re using a white background so the links work but you can’t see them. I’ve tried deleting/re-uploading the Cloud template plugin and duplicating and renaming the previous template but it’s still white on white. Can you please advise on potential solutions? Thank you!
Hi,
If this is a cloud template then you can edit it using tagDiv Composer, if you provide a link to your website I can provide some more details.
Thank you!
Hi, Calin — I already tried to edit it with the Composer and also tried to use a different cloud template but it didn’t work. We also had images missing across the site (on almost all browsers except for Chrome). I went through the forums again and have implemented the jQuery Migrate temporary fix until an updated version of theme is released. Thanks.
Hi,
There is a new version, Newspaper v10.3.9.1 this version should fix the problem with missing images.
