Hello, I want to ask you sth about the ads. I have created google ads with custom size.when I paste the code, I have to choose the size but I select the auto size.when the auto is selected, the Google ad is not resized.
How can I have my ads with the custom size without the option auto?
More specific, the google ad size is 720px, but my container is 696px and i want it to this size but there is no this size in the list.
Thanks in advance
Dimitris
Hi,
When on auto and Adsense is used, the theme should search for and display the most appropriate size depending on the container where the ad is placed

In the post content for example the maximum ad size would be 696px in width.
We could take a look if there are problems with the ads, please provide a link to your website where this is happening.
Thanks
Please, have a look on the home page and also in post pages. The biggest issue in at home page where i want to make the ad banner to 969-700px.
Thanks in advance
I see no problem with the ads on your website. Where exactly you want to show of that size?
Note that in the header the space reserved for the ad when using that header style is 728px. Other header styles do not have such limits, the ones that do not display the logo and ad in the same line

In pages an ad of that size could be placed on a page in a full row only. The theme width is 1068px so that ad will display in it’s full size

In the post content to display such a big ad you would have to use no sidebar, so there is enough space available.
That is also a somehow large ad size for Adsense however, the top performing ad sizes would be these

Iam talking about google ads. As you can see here https://www.screencast.com/t/IMzBRWBmvi, the custom_ad is 728px but the container is 696px.
I have created an ad with custom size through Google Adsense, but in the Theme panel, what should i select for size?
Thanks
Somehow I did not notice that, sorry. Indeed it seems the ads that are served by Google are wider than the container they are placed in. According to Google responsive ads should not break out of the container they are placed in

Try setting a size for desktop in the theme panel for the article ads, see if this has any effect

The auto size doesn’t work, because too many ads with the wrong size appeared http://www.screencast.com/t/SSkSBsusK.
I tried to select the 728*90, http://www.screencast.com/t/fjan3snaCiFi, but again, the ad takes the size of 728*90 and not the size that i added on the adsense code. http://www.screencast.com/t/9V66o7p06Lcj
Try selecting a smaller size, in the auto add sizes there is no 696px width, choose 640px sizes for example

Paste the responsive ad code exactly as provided by Google, don’t modify it in any way.
Sorry, but it doesn’t work this.
Please take into consideration that the container must be 728px and not 696px in order for google ads to be adjusted to the container.A recommendation for the next update.
Please, do you have another way to face that?
Thanks in advance.
The post content is of 696px, so the ads that are served should be smaller than that if you use the auto size. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login so we can take a look. Also include a link to this topic in the email.
