Hello dear supporters,

i would like to ask your for one more favour. 🙂

I followed tutorials about speeding website and it really takes it from F(24%), E(56%) to B(85%, B(85%).

I must say i followed a topic here for speeding up website whitch i unfortunately can not find again…:/

I also did code to functions.php and then you see there are plugins that are on site or something similar…Then you saved them in txt and delete code from functions…

Hope somebody knows about tutorial i am talking about.. 😛

Well the problem is that when i was following it i do that but later i did not find same codes and i skip this step.
Now my only problem is this and i dont really know how to fix it. Problems that GTmetrix show is not the same as in the code i saved before in txt with that tutorial.

Defer parsing of JavaScript
E (58)

…/plugins/lazy-load/js/jquery.sonar.min.js (1.3KiB)
…/js/comment-reply.min.js (918B)

…/wp-content/plugins/lazy-load/js/lazy-load.js (427B)
…wp-content/plugins/ultimate-member/assets/js/pickadate/translations/sl_SI.js (273B)

So what shouald i do with that do improve that scoore ? 🙂

Thank you very much for helping.

You can try the ‘scripts to footer’ plugin which moves all .js to footer. It’s what I use in place of Speedbooster; but you have to try it and see if it breaks anything. With certain js elements they have to load in header; but MOST can be loaded at footer. Easy to try, as it only moves things when it’s turned on — so, you can turn it off, and nothing changes. 🙂

Thank you.
Will try to do that. 🙂

Hello slo,

Please keep in mind that the page speed loading does not about our theme, sorry!
You can try to increase your loading speed by using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
As a note on speed booster: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/

Thank you!

I implemented scripts to footer and it definitely improved speed (not that speed is ever an issue for my site) – however after over a year of Bounce 6% and 2.9 Pages/session, these have changed to bounce 67% and p/s 1.8 – could a change like this have made this happen? Could it be the GA code?

I’m looking at whether anything else changed but don’t think it did…

Have you seen this before and have any other ideas?

Thanks
Pat

Have turned it off 24 hours ago and deleted – but can’t see a recovery yet…

Actual pvs seem as strong as a normal period

Thanks
Pat
