Hello, does anyone have a solution to the problem I’m experiencing, when I create a page using a cloud template when I use the page I experience a display difference, such as screenshots
Hello!
Please edit the category template by clicking on the green button here: https://www.screencast.com/t/Iobu2YcZa
and not from the Dashboard -> Cloud Templates.
Thank you!
Hello Bettina
Thanks for the suggestion, I’ve tried your suggestion but the result is still the same.https://www.screencast.com/t/oiy2D5qIR9
If I edit via my front end my edits will only affect the category I edited?
Because I have quite a lot of categories and I want if I change 1 template it will affect all categories. Is that possible?
Hi FKnews,
When you are using cloud templates, you have one that it is set as global and that one will apply on al categories that do not have set an individual cloud template -> https://i.imgur.com/rWAbFBR.jpg so, yes, editing that cloud template will make the changes on all categories.
Thank you!
Hello Calin
Do you have a solution to my problem regarding the difference in results between frontend and backend?
Hi FKnews, sorry, but I do not see any difference.
In tagDiv Composer you have a template that display how the blocks with posts will look, and this is not assigned (https://i.imgur.com/PByW7gp.png), when you check it on the frontend and the cloud template it is assigned it looks like this -> https://i.imgur.com/ouzihm3.png is the same structure, but are display the posts with different featured images and posts titles, and excerpts.
If you want you can edit the cloud templates with assigned content -> https://i.imgur.com/unuJxNd.png
If this is nowt what you mean, please let me know!
Hi Calin
The difference lies in the number of post limits and post offsets, for post loops 1 I set the post limit number to only 1 and post loops 2 I set the post limit number to 5 and post offset 2, but what appears on the front end post loops 1 still appears 5 articles and the post loops 2 offset post doesn’t work.
Hello @FKnews,
So I understood you add two blocks of the posts loop in your template, right? if yes, we do not recommend setting two posts loop on the same page/template, please use a flex block or another block, because most of the settings from the first loop element will be set for the second one.
Thank you!
