Hi there
For some reason the footer within the Newspaper Theme can no longer be edited using the Tag-Div editor.
In addition, the ‘Stay in Touch’ feature has now disappeared with the latest update too. I tried to creating a new Footer using the Cloud templates, the ‘Stay in Touch’ shows during the preview; however, as soon as you import the template the ‘Stay in Touch’ disappears again.
Could you please clarify what is happening? There is no way for me to edit the template anymore.

Hello,
You can add the form in the footer from tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/f2yLV4VSsy3 -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-newsletter-plugin/
Thank you!
Thank you Anamaria,
Unfortuantely, I cannot edit the footer under cloud templates because it does not allow me to do it with Tag-Div anymore. I am not sure why? The header I can edit with tagdiv but not the footer.

Hi,
The footer template does not have the button to be edited with tagDiv Composer in the backend. Please check this guide:https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
The footer template can be edited only from the frontend if it is assigned, edit a page/post template with tagDiv Composer and go down to the footer. => https://www.screencast.com/t/rpfNhfyrF -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nE51MfLV7hE
Thank you!
Thank you – I have tried the newsletter subscribe with Mailchimp as you have mentioned and as listed in the documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-newsletter-plugin/
But when I copy the Mailchimp code in, I do not get the form which I see on the mailchimp side, I only get email and subscribe button – I do not get the first name, last name?

Hello,
Our newsletter simplifies that form and displays only an email field and a submit button.
If you want to display the whole form, then you have to use another element such as column text or text with title set the code in text zone => https://www.screencast.com/t/uDXaxJ8JSKFB and see if this work. The shortcode is automatically saved.
Thank you!
Ah ok, thank you.
I have decided to use Campaign Monitor and it has given me a code like this: [cm_form form_id=’cm_61550b967e75a’]
I have tried to add this to the Newsletter element you have but it does not work. So then I tried to add a HTML element and add it in there.
Unfortunately that didn’t work either, it just showed the form as text.
I have tried your column idea, but it does not seem to be saving the text – when I click on Edit content again its gone
Hi,
Please find below the images in the order I do it in – the last one you can see the code is gone again when I open it up after pasting the code and closing.
