Today I tried to go to a few pages I created using TagDiv Composer and none of them are resolving. When I tried to edit the pages, I get this error message: Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!. It just spins and never resolves. Can you help with this?
Hello jmedina0107,
1)Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
Please do not use this setting in Seo by Yoast:
https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh Also, if you are using the WP Super Cache plugin, please ensure that has been right setup according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
2)Also, the third important rule is to do not edit a page which was created with Visual Composer with TD Composer.
Also, I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues like this.
For more information about how you should use our page builder incorrect way on our theme, please check the following useful tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial-2/
Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi Catalin,
I appreciate the feedback. I’ve also noticed that our contact us page that we created and the RSS Feed page is no longer working. Now I have deactivated all of the plugins and went and one by one added them back on to see if this issue would resolve and that hasn’t done anything. I do not think its an issue with a pluggin. Can you please look into this?
Also when I configured WP Supercache it was to the settings that you provided.
So just a recap on what I have tried. I have disabled all pluggins on the site. Doing this resulted in the same error when I tried to access the TD Composer for the page. Adding the pluggins back one by one did not change anything. If this was an error resulting from a pluggin, removing it should have fixed the problem. I also notice that I am unable to edit any settings in SEO by Yoast anymore. The page blanks out. So I have the plugin deactivated now. I will try to reinstall it. But I think there is something broken in the theme, that is not allowing me to get to the TD Composer page.
Sorry to keep replying, but I have been working on this all day on my end. So what I have noticed is that I am getting 404 errors on some pages. I do not think the issue is with TD Composer as it seems to be randomly happening to some pages but not all. I tried to create a new page with just text that says “test”. As a draft the page works. When I publish, I get the 404 Error. I have tried to refresh the permalinks, that did not work. I also tried to do this manually at the .htaccess file, this did not work. The only thing that brings them back is if I use the ugly links. But using pretty links will return the 404 error.
Hello jmedina0107,
First of all, ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, the version of TD Composer, please enable GD Library and mbstring for PHP on the server and also, try to set up the below code in .htaccess!
<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
</IfModule>
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Thanks for the advice Catalin. This did not work. The version of NewsMag that I am running is version 4.3 and TD Composer is version 2.2. When you say install the FTP way, I did this when I first installed the theme. Are you saying I need to install the theme again via FTP? Does that mean I need to uninstall the theme and reinstall it?
I continue to get the 404 error on pages only. Categories and Posts are working. Even new pages I make get the 404 error when published. If I leave it as a draft it works fine.
Hello jmedina0107,
Please try again to make a new install via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) and Cpanel access so we can take a closer look at it.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi Catalin,
Please explain the procedure of reinstalling the theme the ftp way. Do I need to uninstall the theme first? If I do need to uninstall, will I lose any of my settings when I reinstall the theme? I have made quite a few changes. It would be a lot of work to recreate everything I have done. Hopefully, you can respond soon.
Thank you
Hello jmedina0107,
First of all, you should make a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your data and for this, please check the following useful guide here -> http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/7-best-wordpress-backup-plugins-compared-pros-and-cons/ All of your data will be loaded into your database and when you will access your website with the new theme installed you will find your content there. Keep in mind that all of the needed steps which are needed to follow to install the theme via FTP way can be found in the above documentation. Check it with more attention!
Thanks.
