Hello,
The GOSSIP demo header, the menu, how do I get it to remain static when going from one category to another or even to a post so that it does not reload on every pageview. I have litespeed cache but it does not seem to cache the Header Template (Cloud template) for the menu. It is really not useful as optimial is to have it as static as possible and it reloads with every change even on the demo site.
Hello!
This is happened because your website need an optimal speed, so in this case the header will not reload slowly when you access a page.
If you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here: https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/ you’ll be able to increase the speed of your website.
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:

Hello,
With your standard theme header it is possible for the menu to cache, I know this as I have it on two websites both on Litespeed web servers with litespeed cache.
With the cloud library header the menu reloads every time but with standard theme header it remains static so does not have the reload.
I don’t want to share the URLs on an open forum if you can let me know how to share this privately I will do so then you can see both sites I am referring to in action.
The header reloads with and without cache on, on a new dev site with no traffic and a mmassive server in relation to that and it is on it’s own server so it is in the site code. The menu commpletely reloads with a Cloud Library header but with the theme standard it is static so does not reload itself (disapears and them reloads completely).
I have looked for any animation options that might be causing it but cannot find any so the only explanation is that the browser does not consider it as part of the header but rather the content so it reloads in it’s entirety opposed to be treated as part of the header.
Hello!
Also, if you use a cloud/PRO template, then they have a lot of elements and it is more complex than a default template.
Our developers are working to improve the page speed in every update and also to add more settings and more possibilities to change the design or the structure of the websites based on the client’s requirements.
If you want to share some private content with us, then please contact us via email contact@tagdiv.com and we will reply to you as soon as possible.
Thank you!
Hi Bettina,
This is not a page speed issue, this is the main menu reloading on every page load so it disappears and then reloads even flipping between the categories linked to it where it should remian static so please, it’s not a page speed issue its the main menu not being declared as such in the cloud template process.
I will email you a recording of what I am referring to.
Hi Bettina,
I’ve taken a recording with my phone to show you the behaviour.
You can see that when you flick between menu options the header remains but the main menu goes white (disappears) and then reappears and it repeats that with every change.
This is extremely bad UX and avoidable. The standard header options so if cloud templates are off does not do that so it is an error with how the menu is load via Cloud Templates as the browser/cms is not treating it as part of the header.

Hello @digibru!
Please try to disable this option and see if the problem persist: https://i.imgur.com/JGLf2cp.png
Let me know about your results!
Thank you!
Hi Bettina,
Thank you that did solve the total reload of the menu not entirely but for the most part it is static now. The entire theme seems to shift a few pixels on a reload it is asif it moves 5px to the right then 5px to the left again after the load is complete.
The solution did help it is a pity as the MORE function is really usefull but we can add a more option to the menu rather than have it auto generate.
There seems to be alot to be done before the cloud template system can be used for the headers in full but thank you for helping disable most of the entire reload.
