I bought your theme yesterday, and in my last theme I had a blog page with my LATEST ARTICLES… But now if you check out this screenshot with the current looking of my blog http://screencast.com/t/RKyDFjuTQ3
it shows you all LATEST ARTICLES but in a horrible way…
My problem is that I can’t customize it.

How can I do to make my blog page look like http://tagdiv.com/blog/ ?

Unfortunately our ‘blog’ page is a custom made one, not created using our theme s but made from scratch. Our website is not a live demo of the theme. This is the live demo where you can see the theme features and functionality: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
The excerpt issue you are referring to is a different matter. The excerpt shows an ad code you use on your site. Our automatic excerpts will grab any custom code you ad as well so if you want to go around it, you will have to add a custom excerpt to your post in the excerpt field in post edit here: http://screencast.com/t/LDfCOe63Ws

I would like to ad this type of post style, to a page of my latest news, including a sidebar.
Anyway I tried, to change my older blog page, that as you saw, in the settings, it was selected to be a entry page. I seleted this in the post settings http://screencast.com/t/VKN3UbXOY4G … I think that It looks similar to the NO GRID that I saw in the demo… but then nothing changed, it still looked as before with that blog style…
So then I unselected this page to be an entry page in the readings settings, but…

Well the demo has no excerot at all. Look. If you do not know how to set up a homepage, please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
There are 2 types of homepages you can use in our theme and on every theme out there.
A static page and a blog template. The blog template can only be changed from here: http://screencast.com/t/FFoHn6Mr6vKb
As for the homepge, you can use visual composer and build it as you want. Excerpts can be controled from the excerpts section or you can use a block that has no excerpts.

I want to have that url of my former blog, as the page in the demo called fashion, that is a category, where I can have the news about the subject, and where I can customize it as I want with those blocks.
How can I do this?

Well to my knowledge you cannot have both a static page and a blog page at the same time. WordPress does not allow it: http://screencast.com/t/creXLxUD I;m not sure of your previous theme;s implementation but not all theme s share the same options and features. In our theme you can use visual composer and add your preferred elements on your homepage and setlect what posts get shown on the page using the block settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
If you want to customize categories, you cannot do it in visual composer. Visual composer does not have any options for category pages. you can customize a category page from the per category settings in the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/EWAL2uhz
You can choose the category template, the grid view and how the posts will display.

Well I have a homepage, but I can also choose a post page… I undertand now that I cant customize the categories with the visual composer.
So now I that I undertand… I would like to move my link where I have selected to be a post page, to be a category, so I can at list costumize it.
If I cant, then I have to make it look better my post page… I now you said me that this issue http://screencast.com/t/RKyDFjuTQ3 can be resolved adding a custom excerpt, BUT I have so many post there that imagine that is a “monkey” thing to do… Also if my visitors go back to see oldest post they will see a horrible excerpt and a mini read more bottom.
Also Im using for facebook, the instant articles, so I cant do many changes.
I dont know what you recommend me to do to make my site that is using your theme to look great

Ok, I finally understand now. I can tell you I did not even use the post page ever, so that’s my bad on this part 🙂 The post page is affected by the same setting in our theme panel as the blog page…meaning here: http://screencast.com/t/wL8v40jB
There are blocks in our theme that do not show excerpts so they will not show your ad code.
Our theme provides ad spots for your future posts that do not require you to place the ad directly in the post content so the excerpt will not pick up the ad code like it does on your site now. Here is a link to our content ads: https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/

One more thing that I would like to improve. I have a VPS server, my site is very fast, it is actually loading very fast, but everything loads fasts, but not the pics, you have to wait some seconds (3s) until you see them perfectly.
How can I improve that or maybe I have a bad configuration of something… I dont know… What do you think?

Yes, I know that I can customize the sidebar, but in this case I want what I have in that side bar because it’s looks good and I need it for the movil version…

Well page speed optimization is not part of the theme. Sorry but I cannot provide any insight into this. It is a very person thing and depends on lots of factors from the hosting that you use all the way to the content on your site. We provided the general things to do to possibly increase loading times but we cannot guarantee 100/100 for everybody. This is for advanced users and you have to know what you are doing to increase the loading speed. Optimization is not an easy thing to do. We suggest getting someone to help you with it who knows his way around page speed improvement. We have no customization department so we cannot do it for you.

Dont worry. I finally undertood, and I did the plugin configuration with no problem. The site is going fast…

So I disabled the loading animation effect and now pics are loading super fast…
As you know Im new with this theme, and everyday I find little things to fix, as for example, some translation stuff…

Please keep in mind that our theme does not have any tested plugins for translation, sorry! I do not know what type of plugins you use for translate your website but please notice that we cannot provide support in this regard, sorry! We have made some tests using the qTranslate X and seems to work fine with the theme but we cannot say 100% because this is not a fully tested plugin with the theme.
