There is a category on our website called Music Releases. This category appears on the Home page as a carousel of posts from a plugin I installed.
For it to appear on the Home page, it pulls the featured image normally. But inside, in this specific section, we didn’t want the featured image to appear because it appears in the page content in a format we created with HTML.
Is there a native way to prevent the featured image from appearing inside this section?

I think I expressed myself poorly. The plugin is working correctly. It is on the Home page and shows the featured images of each post.
When I click on one of the images, I go to the post internally. It is in the post that I do not want the featured image to appear, because if it continues to appear, it will appear duplicated. I do not want the featured image to appear within the post. Is there any way to do this?

I’m sorry, but I’m not sure what model means. I mean to delete the shortcode of the featured image that our theme displays in the article. Any other custom section is yours; the theme settings can not interfere with the extra code.

Let me try to explain better. I want to continue having posts with the Featured Image, as usual, but for a category, I want to use a page without this featured image within the post. This is what I consider a post template. In Elementor it is easy to do this and define which post template the category will use. In our theme, I still haven’t figured out how to do this, if it is possible.

Yes. You can also have multiple post templates in the Newspaper theme. You can duplicate the existing post template from the Cloud templates: https://app.screencast.com/FADNKzU6PHwpG, give it another name, make the changes in the tagdiv Composer(in your case, delete the featured image), and then assign it to your special posts. There is an easy way to assign a post template depending on its category. This can be done from the theme panel settings -> categories -> per category settings.

If I have a Template for categories – and use that as the global template for categories – – is each category that has that applied – – able to have it’s own featured image set so that when the category is shared on social media a specific image to a certain category is shared?

Having a category template that is global will display elements for each category in parts that are related to that category, for example, category image, description articles…
Now if you have a cloud category template, this can be edited with tagDiv Composer and make sure that you use the category elements.
