First … just want to say that I LOVE this theme!!!
Everything has been working with no problem until today … for some reason my images are not showing up on the front page … and sometimes not on the article page either.
I don’t understand why. 🙁
I’ve even tested by deactivating all plugins … still doesn’t work.
Please help.

Please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer this problem. Also, first of all, ensure that you are using only tested plugins, clear all the caches and if you are lazyload active, try to turn of it and check the results.

Same issue in my website as well, so disabled the lazy load then now images are appearing. However, I am having issue with tag-div-gallery, I am going to start a new thread for this gallery issue.
Support… is there any hope?
For now just go to theme panel and then disable lazy load image from post template settings, this works for me even though this is not the exact solution.

The problem is that jQuery().ready(function….) should be jQuery(document).ready(function(){setTimeout(function…,0)})

There is no issue with the lazyload animation. It is just the first to break on a js error. These are usually caused by plugin conflicts. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

and also consider the same pluguins have always been working nothing change, just a sudden break

I feel its just being deflected till people find a workaround themselves
Try downgrading the WPBakery Visual Composer plugin to 4.9 and this works well for me, not only this issue but with other issues as well.

Also to be honest I am begining to feel that it’s time to move on as these are issue support should be all over, but instead they decided to take the approach that nothing is wrong and we should figure it out which shows warning signs:(… my alexa ranking is dropping and I’m honestly just have to look for a new theme, I’ve never ranted about any theme before in my many years
I finally found 4.92 somewhere on my drive, and it did solve the problem
so sad the tag div team refused to look into this issue …. big red flags
are you even doing anything about this or leaving to users to figure out????

Please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard and install only the plugins that come bundled with the latest version of the theme. I have tested on my side and everything seems to work as properly. Follow my advice, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results.

This is what I did today and it works so far,
I already had the latest theme with Visual Composer v4.9, I deleted the plugin and install the plugin from theme panel to get the latest version of the plugin. Then I clear all the cache including cloudflare and images are showing as expected. I did this before too but not sure why did not work before. I will closely monitor in coming days and will provide additional info if the issue shows up.

That looks spot on like a js error that causes the theme lazyload animation to break and cause all images to get an opacity of 0 thus making them transparent. @Chito, the latest version of the theme is Newspaper 7.6 which using the Visual Composer 5.0.1. The theme works as properly and until now, we do not have any bad reports in this regard, sorry! Try the theme in default state, without any untested plugins, additional customization and check the results.

The images are not showing on a fresh installation. I installed it on a new wordpress installation. I have tried all the suggestions, except I didn’t downgrade the Visual Composer Plugin since I am not sure if that is possible since the plugin came bundled with the theme.

I have inspected your website, and I realize that you do not understand the Featured Image concept and also, you do not read our documentation, why? 🙁 Please notice that the images do not appear because you do not have Featured Image set up. You images are loaded in the post content, and all of these will not be added in the modules, as Featured Image. I have checked your website and I saw that you have loaded an image at the top of each post. Now, if you will add a feature image, you will see two images on your post content.
