Try disabling all your plugins except the ones bundled with the theme and check again.

we are currently working with the thrive leads plugin. The developers told us there is a conflict with newspaper-theme :

Hi,
Try deactivating the child theme if there is this conflict between it and the plugin you are using. Please note that there is a possibility that that respective plugin could still not work properly and can cause interference with the theme functionality. Then again it might not, but I can not say for sure since we have not made any tests with the theme and such plugins. Also there could be a conflict between that plugin and your other plugins later on.
