This mobile theme thing and global settings make me kind of cry already…
1. https://mkuubis.ee/ulevaated footer is set as a global footer, it works. So I can set and design my own mobile footer. Everything works almost as it should. The only problem here is that I can’t make “Mobile horizontal menu” content to the centre. Whatever I do, it shows it’s aligned to the left. Is there a chance of setting it in the centre? I can do it with HTML text, but not if I use “Mobile horizontal menu”. I am using it because it would make it easier to change menu items.
2. Same time https://mkuubis.ee footer is coming from theme panel > mobile theme. And there you can’t set global mobile footer. Why? Through setting, you can only set sub-footer with menu. Why? How I can set the same mobile footer to all pages, manually generated pages and automatically generated pages? Like I was able to do this with normal pages, where I can set a global footer and it set up for all pages, manually and automatically generated pages.
NB! Mobile footer menu here is automatically set already in the centre like I want to set the global footer.
3. the Mobile menu is also different. When you click on mobile menu, left corner three lines on https://mkuubis.ee/ulevaated page, you see correct mobile menu, everything works as it should. But when you go to mkuubis.ee or other pages, menu is automatically create and this menu is not working as you see from /uleaated page. Mkuubis.ee menu is set without submenus and therefore you miss some menu items on smaller mobile screens.
4. Also is it possible to somewhere set up the background image the way that it will bee only shown on standard website and when you load mobile website then it will not load background image as it does at the moment. It’s kind of useless on mobile theme.
3. https://mkuubis.ee/ulevaated mobile menu, if you click on left corner lines, shows the correct menu. But when you
And another strange thing with mobile header/menu on mkuubis.ee/ulevaated page
If I don’t use AMP. If I do not enable AMP in page settings, it’s disabled, then Google PageSpeed Insights gives horrible score around 30. But when I enable in page settings AMP, then I get amazing score with Google PageSpeed Insights, around 85-90. But when I do it, mobile menu button on left side on screen, three lines, does not open anymore it does not show menu at all.
Hello @edragon!
1. Let me know exactly(screenshot) what you need to align to the center.
2. In order to disable this option “Exit mobile version”, you need to disable this setting: https://i.imgur.com/LxpDtB2.png
You can’t have a global template if you use the Mobile theme plugin or AMP.
a Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. Edit the page with TagDiv Composer. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB; there you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
b Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
c Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and design for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
You can add some paddings to the rows in every viewport you need the space and you can center it like that.
3. Unfortunately, there are no settings in order to change that menu.
4. We do not have any settings in order to achieve this.
We should investigate this issue and find the problem. Please contact us and provide the required details.
Thank you!
