I have created and enabled a mobile page for my homepage (frontporchrepublic.com), but when I navigate to the homepage on a mobile device, the regular homepage displays rather than the mobile version. Is there something else I need to do to make this show up on mobile devices?
Hello !
Please make sure that you have set up the mobile theme as you can see in our guide here:https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you !
I think I followed all those steps–the mobile theme and awp plugins are activated. But I’m still not seeing the mobile version load on mobile devices. I’m sure it’s possible that I may have missed a setting somewhere.
Hello !
Now your mobile theme works but unfortunately it displays on desktop too. This happens due to cache. Please follow our guide and make sure that WP Super Cache has been installed properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Thank you !
I’ve updated the cache settings, and it appears to be working properly now. I thought, however, that I was able to customize the homepage (and other pages) that appear on mobile devices. I have a mobile page designed for the homepage, but it seems to be showing the default mobile theme instead.
Hi jeffbilbro,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin and you want to have the desktop layout, you can use the responsive version -> https://imgur.com/m0bVB5T also if you want to make a page for mobile using tagDiv Composer, please disable the mobile theme plugin and try this new option -> https://i.imgur.com/oz2lBPO.png -> https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-page-builder-basics/ -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Calin, Thank you. This is what I was trying to do in the first place, but the mobile page I built using tagDiv Composer wasn’t actually displaying on mobile devices. I can disable the mobile theme again, but do I then need to change other settings to make the one I build and enable (eg this route: https://i.imgur.com/oz2lBPO.png) show up on mobile devices?
Hi jeffbilbro,
When the mobile theme is enable it will overwrite the mobile page and the responsive version, therefore if you want to use them, you need to disable the mobile theme plugin or use it only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/gWPWpZr.png make sure that this option is disable -> https://i.imgur.com/MWfVRRJ.png after that you need to set for each page the mobile page that you want to display -> https://i.imgur.com/BTZ7Xta.png
Hope this will help you!

Thank you!
I set the AMP settings accordingly, and I’ve tried it with both the mobile theme plugin disabled and with the plugin enabled and set for only AMP. With the mobile theme plugin active, I got the correct mobile page to load once on a mobile device, but now it’s just loading the regular page. I don’t know if there’s a cache setting or something else that could be causing this?
Hi,
As I can see now you do not have the amp on homepage, but in rest is ok, also the mobile page is displaying ok.
For me having these settings -> https://imgur.com/gWPWpZr -> https://i.imgur.com/4EuQfad.png -> https://imgur.com/BTZ7Xta I have the desktop layout -> https://i.imgur.com/GTk8tnU.png, the mobile layout -> https://i.imgur.com/Heu0ar1.png and amp layout -> https://i.imgur.com/vz5SuTB.png for homepage too.
If there is still a problem, please me know!
Thank you!
I adjusted one of the settings in the AWP plugin accordingly, and I think it’s working now. Thanks!!
