We have updated the newspaper theme to 11.4 version
It is throwing an error : PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class “td_global” not found in newspaper-child theme in header file.
How we have installed the new theme version :
1) Installed latest theme version from themeforest.
2) Upload newspaper.zip file to themes from wp-admin and kept newspaper-child theme active.
3) Deleted old version newspaper theme.
Please let us know as we are facing site down issue due to this reason.

If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.

There is no issue of php version.
As soon as I activate newspaper-child theme, I am receiving an error “td_global” not defined in header.php .

The latest version of the theme is 11.4.3. Make sure that all the plugins are up to date too.
The child theme is not overwritten by the update. An issue for that could be the compatibility of your child theme with the new version of our theme(if you use some files which were updated).
If you have some custom modifications directly in the theme files, then better save the code and replace it after the update.

Do you mean we have to check each and every file we have overwritten in child theme?
Also we didn’t receive any updates in “updates” tab of newspaper theme options. Please let us know why it happens

If there is a problem, then you need to verify the file from the child theme and adjust it to the update.
Access Newspaper -> Updates and press the button check for updates.

We updated everything but css and js files are not working properly.
