I always upload photos for a post in 800×600 format. I have the idea that when the photos are visible on the site, they are no longer as sharp.
Could it be that the theme crops the photos, causing a loss of quality? What dimensions should I choose for my theme?
Hello!
For the images that are not sharp, please follow the instructions described here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/nu-pot-schimba-headerul/
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello!
If you upload an image smaller than your size from settings, then this could appear blurry and not of high quality. I suggest you upload the images in your Media Library in full size (1920 px): https://prnt.sc/YzxtrT24bGKM
Check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
I’ve since solved the problem myself. I changed the featured image size from the default (696×0) to 1068×580. This immediately resulted in a sharper image. However, I could literally see the difference. We use 1920×1080 images by default, but if you set them to the default size, they become grainy and blurry.
One other thing: in the documentation, I see that if you want to use the TagDiv slide gallery, you have to insert it via the classic editor. I find this very convenient, and I’d like to see (and many others agree) that the slide gallery is also available when using Gutenberg. Could you implement this in an update?
Hi,
I’m glad that you managed to resolve the situation with the images.
Related to the tagdiv slide gallery https://forum.tagdiv.com/gallery-2/ this can be used on Gutenberg by selecting the “Classic” element https://forum.tagdiv.com/gallery-2/
Also, if you want you can try the Gallery from Gutenberg.
Thank you!
