Hello!
Check all these requirements for the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Please note that page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
I recommend you use fewer features on the page so there will also be fewer requests.
Improving page speed in WordPress is crucial for providing a better user experience and optimizing your website for search engine rankings. Here are some tips to help you enhance your WordPress site’s page speed:
Optimize Images: Compress images before uploading them to your WordPress site. You can use plugins like WP Smush or EWWW Image Optimizer to automatically optimize images without losing quality.
Utilize Caching: Implement caching to reduce server load and speed up page loading times. WordPress caching plugins like WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache can generate static HTML files of your pages to serve users instead of dynamically generating them each time.
Minify CSS and JavaScript: Minify your CSS and JavaScript files to remove unnecessary characters and reduce file sizes. This can be done manually or through plugins like Autoptimize or W3 Total Cache.
Enable GZIP Compression: Enable GZIP compression on your server to reduce the size of files sent from your server to users’ browsers. Most hosting providers offer GZIP compression, but you can also enable it through plugins like WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache.
Optimize Database: Regularly clean up and optimize your WordPress database to remove unnecessary data and improve performance. You can use plugins like WP-Optimize to automate this process.
Limit External Requests: Minimize the number of external requests your website makes by reducing the use of external scripts and widgets. Each external request adds overhead to your page’s loading time.
Enable Lazy Loading: Implement lazy loading for images, videos, and iframes so that they are only loaded when they are visible on the user’s screen. This can significantly reduce initial page loading times.
Optimize Server Response Time: Choose a reliable hosting provider with fast server response times. Consider using a content delivery network (CDN) to serve your content from servers closer to your users.
Regularly Update Plugins and Themes: Keep your WordPress core, plugins, and themes updated to the latest versions to ensure compatibility with the latest performance optimizations and security patches.
Ads can significantly impact the speed of your WordPress website since they often involve loading external resources and scripts. You can try to limit the number of ads, optimize ad sizes and formats, and implement lazy loading on your ads.
By following these tips, you can significantly improve the page speed of your WordPress website, leading to better user engagement, higher search engine rankings, and overall improved performance.
Thank you!
Hello!
Unfortunately, we have not fixed the page speed issues in our demos.
The page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique in this regard. External and internal factors can be important for your page speed.
External factors include server speed, whether you are using CDN, and the external resources loaded by your website, such as ads, fonts, and tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics, Hotjar, and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, whether you are using mobile-optimized layouts, console errors, whether you are using the Standard Pack plugin, and whether you are using a PRO demo or a standard one.
Thank you for understanding!
You’re advertising this theme as being fast and “performance optimized”, so how can you tell me the page speed issues is not fixed?
Check the description here: https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609 of the theme you’re selling, then let me know where I can tell you the credentials so you can login to the theme and optimize it as you’re advertising it.
You mention 99% score optimization, not 27%;
You mention also optimized DOM size, but I have excesive dimmenstions;
Smart content delivery: content appearing just when your users need it, not 14.2 seconds time to load.
There is no issue with the hosting, as I have bought a package more expensive just for this.
I’m waiting for instructions on how to fix this
Hello!
We optimized the theme but not the demo content. We did not find it important because our clients don’t use the data from our demos, only the design that can be easily improved to the new rules of the page speed tools. If you do not use some plugins for optimization, you cannot fix it from any theme. You can check our changelog to see that we optimized the theme and added options to minify aggregate inline CSS and many options for delay. We optimized the composer to load only what’s needed and where it is needed. We also improve the font loading by introducing new options like global fonts to specify alternative font stacks for iOS and Android. We also specified that the support team does not cover page speed.
If you are disappointed with the latest update of the theme, using all the options for your website’s performance, then you can request a refund here: https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new
Thank you!
I’ve bought the theme because you advertise it as being fast and reliable. You don’t mention in the theme info that you didn’t optimized the demo content, nor do I care of such things, as you explicitly mention ‘no coding required’, which suggests I can buy it and use it at its full potential.
I don’t understand why you mention that the support team does not cover page speed, as on the website description you mention optimized speeds and all of that.
Also, a refund is not the option, as you’re selling this as being optimized. So, I would like my theme to be optimized, as you’re advertising it, with 99% mobile and PC.
Please let me know where I can tell you the credentials for admin so you can sort it out.
Hello!

Check this topic as well: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/score-100100-pagespeed-with-newspaper-wordpress-theme/
Please note that page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
Thank you!
Awesome. Thank you for providing the link.
As the theme does mention no coding skills required, and I can import the one I like with one just click and customize everything without touching a single line of code as you advertise on themeforest, please let me know where I can send the credentials so you can update the theme as described.
