My website http://www.vipcommnews.com is down since 3 days. I asked to support of server Bluehost.com and they said that the problem is about the theme:
“The issue is with your theme: [12-May-2016 18:38:09] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class td_block_widget in /home6/vipcommn/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/widgets/td_page_builder_widgets.php on line 26”
What I need to do to solve it? Thanks
Hello vipcomm,
Please notice that our theme was fully tested in this regard before to be released and you should not have these type of errors. As you can see, the problems appear on your side and probably is caused by your settings.
So, first of all, please try to do a full backup to your data, according to this documentation here -> https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups to rule out the way can loose all your data from your database and then try to do a fresh install only VIA FTP -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ because this is the surest method in this case. In the next step, you will have to disable ALL your plugins and leave just Visual Composer to active -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ (for Newspaper 7 -> Visual Composer 4.11.2), clear all your caches, purge all CDN files if you are using CDN and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins and if you are using the Child theme, please try to switch to the main theme. So, please try to bring the website to the default settings to rule out all the potential errors which could appear when you customize your side.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi vipcomm,
I am also Bluehost client and I can assure you that this Theme works perfectly. When they are not able to solve a problem, usually try to blame others. I know how it works!
Good luck.
