after updating Newspaper to V 8.1. for some minutes we have problems with some/different pages e.g. http://cadzand-online.de/natur- see or http://cadzand-online.de/veranstaltungen. The plugin shows WP Bakery Visual Composer Version 4.12.1 – tagdiv Composer is deactivated – also I deactivated the “”all-in-one-calendar” and “MapPress Easy Google Maps”- they seemed to origin a problem – but this was not helpful-…

Hi,
I see that you are using an older version of Visual composer, try updating it to the latest version provided in the theme package

Then clear any caching installed, and check if the error is gone. The best way to update the theme is by FTP, you could try to reinstall the theme by that method as a last resort

as you proposed I have updated fully Newspaper Theme and Visual Composer to 5.2 – no – nothing is now anymore working!!!

As you can see there must something wrong with wp_booster/td_api.php and following other problem. And: In the Widgets-Dashboard: All sidebars are without content and are empty…
One Annonation: On my webserver are still the older versions of Newspaper theme – but signed with “-” or “X”…so they are not running…
Please help – we need the site running quickly again…if you need acces to the wp installation ore ftp please mail…

Hi,
The error is displayed when you are not using the tagDiv composer editor. A solution would be to edit one of your theme files. Please copy the code provided here

Then edit the td_block_text_with_title.php file from your theme (Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_block_text_with_title.php)
And replace all the found code with the one provided

Then the error will not be displayed anymore, when the tagDiv composer is deactivated. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused for you. Please let us know if you have further problems.

Hi,
unfortunately iT´s not working – I`m not experienced in php. I used for the first time the NVU-Editor, copied the php-code from Pastebin (“RAW Paste Date”), saved on my computer, than uploaded the file in the described directory. The tag div composer is not installed…
But the effect is zero…please help.. the site has to be running again before the weekend..
