Hello all,
I’ve got some problems with automatically resizing images. All images fits perfectly into the website except a few which are used as thumbnail in a Block. http://prntscr.com/ev9xio
Furthermore i realised that the images, which has beend auto sized, are missing more then 50% of the image, if i open it local. In the following screen u can see the picture with 324×160, which is also the size used in thumps on block 2. http://prntscr.com/ev9yns
Now, do u have any solution or tipps for me how to solve the problem?

The theme creates the thumbs displayed on the blocks from the featured image set on posts

Maybe you are using a plugin that is automatically resizing your thumbs, and this can cause interference with the theme and cause unexpected results. If you could provide a link to your website pointing to this issue, I will inspect it and see if there are any problems in this matter.

that’s the way i did it like your tutorial shows, to create the thumbs. Furthermore i checked the thumb sizes for each module thats how i figured out which size the theme is using for a thumb used on block 2. I dont use any resizing plugin and i deactivated the others for testing purposes, but problem still remains.
I also made a fresh install on my local server and tested it. Same problem. Thats a weird thing. I’ve uploaded a picture with all automatically resizes: http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=65156565575409441647
EDIT: It looks like the pictures just getting cutted on the bottom.

Please try to regenerate your thumbnails using this guide, and also take note of the requirements for the server

I have inspected your website but I see no error or problems with the thumbs. I have made a test using one of your images on the block you are using, and this is the result – https://www.screencast.com/t/EDYsbB6rq
It seems the thumb size used on the block is not suited for this kind of images, and where a center top cropping is applied. For example a circle cannot fit properly in a smaller rectangle, it gets cut off.
A solution would be to use a different block with different thumbs, like block 5 for example
